Things that make you SAD thread.

Can you PM me with the details of the AI bot please. Hoping to introduce a Cyber version of Cyber to save him the time in the future...

(Obviously joking Mr C but Langers bullied me into posting that...)

My step dad's memorial tree has been vandalised. Branches off, cut, and uprooted. What the hell is wrong with people. Whether it be kids or adults, you are truly sad cunts.

My 5 year old broke his collarbone this morning, hate seeing him in pain. Already woken up once tonight with the pain

playing devils advocate here, but a benefit might be that people don't have to do mind numbing jobs anymore, and have time to spend with people or on things they love?
Perhaps the first step towards a 4 day working week being the norm, rather than 5?

LJ, They always say this whenever more digitisation is launched, but it always comes down to less jobs - people can do 4 day weeks, but only for 80% of the money, companies very rarely give much away.

DDW, my company has found despite the increasing digital channels and chat bots available, customers still like to talk to someone, calls haven’t reduced anything like as much as they imagined at the start.

Saw this on Facebook earlier :

"At some point in your childhood, you and your friends went outside to play together for the last time, and nobody knew it"

I want to play outside now !

I still go outside to play with my friends, I just play at drinking beer and watching football down the pub.

Sorry to hear that, fella. Still, 88 is a damned good innings.

Yup your right. She never married or had kids. Never smoked or drank or swore. Was the local cat lady and loved her animals. She'll be sorely missed

Having shingles is making me pretty fucking miserable right now...

Ouch. Sorry to hear that, fella.

I'm just about to have a shower, so I'll have a naked sing in your honour.

Said goodbye to my gorgeous girl today. I know it was the humane thing to do but still sucks.

That trip to the vets is one of the hardest things I've had to do. It's horrible and I understand what you are going through

Oh man that's heartbreaking. So so sorry to see that. What a gorgeous girl so sorry for your loss [emoji22][emoji22][emoji22]

Saddened to hear this, but it happens often (they don't live as long as we do)

No doubt I will be upset when the cat (which I didn't intend to inherit long term, but which got dumped on me by one of my sons) goes. Could be soonish as she's somewhere between 11 & 13 (no ones really that sure)

In about 6 hrs from now 75 yrs ago my dad landed on beach Juno in Normandy as part of the 191st field regiment & hooked up with the guns (light artillery 25 pounders)

Left us 39 yrs ago & he never spoke to us about his experience - am saddened that I never got to have a conversation with him again about this or anything else (only know a little about it after my Mother died & we could access the family archive chest)

Sounds like a hero. Perhaps something's are better left on the battlefield, I can't imagine how they coped. RIP

From the generation that did what they had to do,came home and just got on with life.
Jeremy clarkson did a documentary about his ex father in law who fought in Arnhem, won a VC and never told a soul, the family only found out when they were sorting out his funeral.
It's on YouTube, worth a watch,it's proper action hero stuff,if it was in a novel, you'd say it was far fetched
