Fair play to her for paying herself a wage and therefore tax. Great. But perhaps don’t profit from others ruining their lives in the first place.
I take it you hold breweries to the same standards then?

Feel free to show me a brewery paying a CEO the same. At least a brewery leaves you drunk too, Bet365 just leave you with nothing.

People can gamble in moderation the same as drink, not everyone though.

Aah so when you posted the OP you thought everyone was going to join you in a pitchfork wielding mob on a moral crusade ? Don't get me wrong I have no time whatsoever for gambling but if everything was earned legally and above board then so be it, as someone else eluded to the alcohol and tobacco industries have just as dirty hands.

Not really. I was annoyed about it and posted in here, wasn’t really expecting any comment. Surprised it got so much actually - I guess football and gambling go hand in hand for a lot of people.

People that damage your car and then drive off without leaving details. Honestly, that just gets right under my skin in a way not much else does.

So my son cobbled his money together to get his first motor to enable him to get to work at his placement year at the ONS is Cardiff. Some bugger ripped off the wing mirror driving past when it was parked in the street outside. He went back to Brighton for the last year of the undergrad and someone reversed into it busting the rear lens and splitting the bumper. He came back to Cambridge to finish his dissertation a month or so ago and last night suffered this belter.

Honestly, I don’t claim to be Mother Teresa but there really are some scumbags out there.

My air Cadet Squadron are back with F2F parades from Wednesday night. I popped in and brought the laptops home to make sure they are running ok. 5 laptops, none have been used for over 6 months so they needed to be updated... It took bloody days (and nights) to sort them out!
We've changed broadband supplier in the building too, went in last Friday, still not working! Fault with the phone line and (hopefully) a technician should have been out and fixed it by midday today

yeah. forecast was 1-2 hours...
Sometimes if you have other apps running, a conflict slows the whole process down. I've stopped updating, seeing as the laptop I'm currently using is on it's last legs and will soon retire and be sent to 'live on a farm'.

everything was closed down in order to do the update.
I mean it is done now, but jeez it was a waste of an afternoon.

Having watched a smart meter in action for a few days, I've decided that kettles are banned and that the meter will be going off to die in a drawer somewhere.

Had a guy deliver a flyer for the South Staffs CC Councillor elections. Instead of posting the flyer and walking back along the path, he cut the corner and went across the lawn. Fuck this guy, he's lost my vote.

I doubt I'd have voted anyway, but still...

Getting bloody old, my 62 year old joints aren't designed to spend most of the day crawling around the bathroom fitting cushion flooring....stiff as fuck now

On the same note (obvs not as old as you ) woke up a couple of nights with cramp in my calves, excruciating for a few seconds. Googled it and it's either over exercise or pregnancy, I'm erring towards the latter !
