Tottenham 2-0 Wolves: Verdict, 16/05/21

Pah. Get in the bin this season. Thank fuck it's over by the end of next week.

No more Donk. Please. If we play like that next Sunday I will be really fucking annoyed.

We must have practised defending corners all week in training, and it worked well. Lucky we only conceded two though. My god how we miss Jimenez and Neto. Punchless up front.

Do you think Nuno will take your annoyance into account ??

I can guarantee that we will. The season is over. Nuno wouldn't be doing things like giving Hoever/MGW/Vitinha/Silva game time all at once, just for the sake of the game time, if it wasn't.

Results are clearly not the priority for us at this moment.

Terrible performance bar Coady.

Lacking any tempo, spark or work rate.

Moutinho's legs look gone for the first time to me. MGW can't play wide, Silva can't play up front on his own and we are too passive in first halves.

I'm frustrated with this team and Nuno.

I’m ok with that, but finishing with a midfield 3 of Neves, Moutinho and Donk doesn’t fit with that narrative.

In which case we have found out the kids aren't alright as if they were speaking their claim that was a terrible effort.

I'd rather that, than have us learn nothing by playing 7-2-1. It was a 'men against boys' line up, and the result and the performance matched it - but he will (or should) have learned more about the players and the system, so no complaints on that.

No point in going through the recruitment changes that are needed, we all know what they are.

We absolutely need to be more aggressive without the ball in that system though. I felt the front 4 tried to press better but it's pointless if it's not backed up; we were bit 'between two stalls' really, but that's the whole point of using these games to blood in a new system. Make the mistakes while it doesn't matter, and figure out who fits.

Spurs played very well, which didn't help.

Another game ticked off towards the end of this stain of a season. Unfortunately it was another woeful display so nothing to enjoy really. 1st half we played ok enough without looking threatening, 2nd half was poor. Not enough players in the team that look capable of helping us take the next step, and quite a few I'd be glad to see the back of. And I keep saying this, we look physically weak in all areas of the pitch. We need to get in a couple of players that add a physically imposing presence. Donk should be able to do that but he's a great big fucking fanny.

Moutinho is finished at this level. Feel sorry for MGW being played out of position, will we ever see what he is capable of in his natural position? The kid was shite today but to be fair, he shouldn`t be playing so much at this level yet. Midfield totally ineffective. Thankfully Coady had a good game today.

Really getting fucking tedious.

"FFS Nuno Play the Kids"

Nuno Plays the Kids

"FFS Nuno this is shit"

Pleased to see so many youngsters out there.

Thought MGW was good
Vithina did ok
Silva Lead the line ok
Mouthino was good.
Coady was good
Rui did ok some good saves on fucking nightmare flap.
Adama looks close to how he was last season
Semedo played very well against Bale.

I dont think it was that bad a performance, just a few mistakes from a young team which to be honest you expect.
Hoever played ok, just made one mistake very similar to the one Beckham made for England when 1 up against Brazil. Instead of making sure it went out he tried to let it go.
Saiss was alright in a back 4

I was fairly happy with it all.
Could have scored a couple just never really looked like scoring.
