Dublin was a way better forward than centre half. The only ones I'm having so far are McGrath, Ward and Burns
Disagree. On the few games he played he was immense. He could have had a top level career as a CB but he just didn't want to play there.

Keep with the more adventurous approach and giving the young players a chance on the whole.

Apart from his crossing Hoever did fine vs Brighton but I'd swap him out for this one.

They aren't great, we can have a go at them. Who cares anyway.

Would be my choice as well DW.

In the time since you posted this he's no doubt picked up another injury. It would be great if he could get fit as it would give the competition we need at left back but history suggests players who suffer a string of injuries continue to do so until they retire so relying on him would be too risky. I give you as Wilshere and Oxlade Chamberlain as witnesses for the prosecution.

If there was a guarantee he could stay fit I'd have no issue with him and RAN as the left back options. I think he is a good player, we just can't rely on him sadly. Think we will sign someone who can cover there as well as playing somewhere else (like Maitland-Niles but not him)

Its a shame he can't stay fit as he looks the perfect replacement for Jonny, and a very good fit as a LB rather than LWB. No point in relying on him though.

Alaba at bayern is a good example of a player learning a new position..but im not gonna bring up the discussion today :)

Michail Antonio has played well in a bunch of different positions

Not going there.

But man he destroyed him that day

Hoddle ended his career as a sweeper for Swindon, was one of the most entertaining defenders I’ve ever seen.

Who was the fullback he took to pieces when he was at forest?

Doherty at home when they beat us 3-0 during that run of games when we forgot how to score or defend.

Later in the season Iorfa utterly dominated him at the City Ground when we all thought we had a hot prospect on our hands.

Cant wait to see what side Nuno puts out today. Will he go for the youngsters again, or experience. Considering were going to finish around 12th, i would go for the kids again, we had 20 goal attempts last week, better than most of the seasons statistics.

Its a bit quiet on here for todays game guys. Is anyone bothered ? I wont sulk for a week if we lose today though, and i havent got pre-match jitters or nerves. Might be a sign were going to win again, lets hope so.

It’s the malaise of just really wanting the season over. Catching Villa would be nice I suppose but that is unlikely if they beat Palace.

The bastards are winning at the moment, but i agree, i want this season over now. And dont shoot me but there has been too much footie on the telly, ok grateful for it due to the pandemic, but were overdosed now.
