Trump

Oh well. Not enough Reps with the balls to stand up to the orange cuntweasel then.

"After voting to acquit Donald Trump, Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell condemned the former president and called him "practically and morally responsible" for the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol."

Stunning.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think you could find him guilty - at least not on the evidence used. There is a difference between responsibility and incitement. He was totally incapable of accepting the election result, persuaded his followers that he was robbed and that the deep state conspired against him etc - in that sense he was responsible. But did he actively exhort his supporters to violently riot and possibly even kill elected representatives? Not on the evidence available to the senators.
If it were a criminal case I doubt it would even have gone to trial - at least not without a lot more digging for further evidence.

What more evidence did they need?

Trump with a rifle in his hand shouting ‘Storm the capitol?’

Basically, yes!
Who knows what he wanted that day, or what he thought might happen. Of course he bears responsibility, but it has not (yet) been proven that he actively sought the violence that occurred.
This was a political trial rather than a legal one, so I understand the desire to convict, but at the end of the day it is all because of his personality defect - a total inability to admit failure made worse by being surrounded by too many sycophants hoping to curry favour.

Bill Gates is a busy man indeed

FFS how many conspiracy theories are there...hahaha

Trump is suing the Republican Party to stop using his image in fundraising materials. Apparently it's all because his own income is way down and he needs cash for pending loan repayments etc. But if he fundraises through his own SaveAmericaPAC he can find ways to legally divert the cash to himself.
