TV Packages/Streaming

I did the season pass last season - used the 3 for 1 Tesco voucher thing too, so only cost the equivalent of £70 IIRC.

Wasn’t going to bother afterwards, but been enjoying the F1 so might as well with no Wolves season tickets to shell out for.

Anyone seen any decent sky deals? My now tv + Netflix bill probably adds up to the cost of Sky so considering moving back.

Bagged a 35% discount code for Sky, but they seem to have not closed my account from 3 years ago. That will be a fun 2 hours on the phone tomorrow then!

Yeah, that’s part of my thinking - £4 for Netflix via sky! Just need to see if I can get a good deal to join.
I got Netflix for £1 per month from Sky, as I’d already paid £4 a month for some ultra HD thing.

We've got:

Virgin Media with all singing all dancing (Sky Sports, Movies)
Now TV Entertainment package
Prime Video/Music
Netflix Ultra HD package.

The Virgin package is £89 a month for now but goes up at the end of the contract, so may take a look at Sky.. the problem around here is you can't get fibre I don't think.

Anyone with sky sports (via any method) - this looks a good deal right?

I got a stream box for £15 from Virgin - we only have freeview. Its their own take on internet boxes. Its really good tbh, got BT sport for £9 a month for 2 months and was then just looking at sky sports and saw this.

Usual price is about £25 if you lready have Sky TV so yeah it's a decent deal.

Got them down to £18 per month for sports HD a few months so sounds good.

I have a firestick arriving today for, erm, reasons.

Anybody aware of any good apps to be loaded on there for TV/Film streaming?

Recently did the old trick of say you're actually leaving and wait for a call back from retentions team. Recommend it to anyone out of contract. Done it 2 years running now and they've called back next day with a deal matching new customer ish, slightly lower than this time. Worst case you call them back and cancel the cancel, but they supposedly always ring you back

£8 p/m for bt sport too.
