TWF's Lockdown Playlist

Do it on your phone, find the song and press +. Done.

Since I've restarted the app, it's automatically chosen the online version rather than the one on my home network. Useful.

I don't have spotify, i suppose i should, you could do worse than add some of this. If you don't know who this band is, and you can name the male sax player I'll buy you a pint next time i'm up in Wolverhampton. Shared a spliff with him backstage at stafford college in the 80s

Added a couple of dozen of various genre. I'd add more but Gogglebox has started.

I just got a shout out from Jarvis Cocker on his Jarv Is live Home Disco on Instagram:)

All of a sudden the lockdown blues have gone :)

Added my favourite Marianne Faithfull song, she’s in hospital with Coronavirus :(

Pushing towards 1,200 tracks now. I've been just sticking it on shuffle and letting it play while I'm writing, not many I have to skip past...

Forgot all about this, just put it on and there are some very good songs. Proper dodgy version of Digsy’s Dinner though.

It's been great passing the time while I'm on night shift this week

Went for 5 of my favourite cover versions, 5 indie tracks, 5 pulled randomly from my playlists and 5 live songs.

Looking forward to delving into this more.

Just added a few little fun ones.

Crabsody in Blue was on the original vinyl of Let There Be Rock, but AC/DC were asked to replace it for CD and later. They put Problem Child on, but that was from the Dirty Deeds sessions and the production is totally different so it is a sore thumb on the album. So for your joy the original track is returned.

Plus an EPIC version of Crazy Horses by Lawnmower Deth. Only good thing the Osmonds ever did and smothered in East Midlands lunacy and the smell of freshly chopped meadows it is even better.

If Chilean-French hip hop is your thing (and why wouldn't it be?), then I've just added 1977 by Ana Tijoux.

Ludovico Einaudi. Just chill to the best classical piano composer of our time.

Is this full now? Just tried to add the new Brighteyes song (it’s excellent btw) but it won’t let me.

I've just added a track, seems fine.

I believe you're allowed up to 10,000 tracks in a playlist and we haven't reached 1,500 yet (still a great response!) so that shouldn't be the issue.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again...

Doesn’t seem to like Shazam adds [emoji2275], so I guess you are kinda right.

Careful, with this level of technical knowledge you will soon be usurping Paddy as the forum’s technical expert.
