v Flum. The Take It Seriously Build Up Thread: Part 2

I don't think there'll be too many changes either, esp in view of KJ's 'all between your ears' comment in the Blackburn build-up vid. A cup run would be good for us, imo. I'm expecting us to go for it.

---------------------Ikeme

Doherty----Stearman---EEL----Ricketts

--------------Evans-----Saville

Eusebio-----------Jacobs----------VLP

------------------McAlinden

Although I'm hoping for something stronger.

If we pick a back up team we will lose. Pretty shit how the fixtures have come out, but I'd use mild rotation. Doherty and Evans for Hause and McDonald. It's not like everyone else has been playing every week.

Can see there being quite a few changes here. Taking it seriously was a comment for the previous game, not this one. This is merely a hindrance.

Southampton maintained their line up for the cup game, to maintain their winning run & that proved effective.
Interesting the split in existence here.
I think there will be a few changes - Hause cup tied, Edwards, possibly Dicko. Don't think we'll see wholesale though.

Southampton only have to play 38 league games a season, we have to play 46 ?

Southampton didn't win either. And now have a long trip to Ipswich on Wednesday anyway followed up by going to Newcastle on Saturday.

Granted, but they didn't lose - bigger picture and all that.

You mate, can take your facts and shove them! :)

I hope that KJ puts out a strong team. We have momentum at the moment, let's keep that going.

lets hope he got Clarke a 1 way ticket out of W'ton. What's the point of having Macca on the bench every week behind him in the pecking order.

He will put out a strong team. However KJ's opinion on what is a strong team (based on the training, reports from the medical team etc) will no doubt differ to that of the fans

I think Kuszczak will get a game, timing of the comments on the OS about wanting him to stay seem too coincidental.

Now looks like I won't be able to go due to child-care commitments. I am actually a little bit downhearted about it. Pretty sure that, had the issue not come up, I would have ended up paying at the ticket office tomorrow. If I went, it would have been crap. Now, it is a racing certainty that we put in our best cup performance since jesus was in short trousers.

We beat Doncaster and Millwall 5-0 in 2010/11 and 2011/12 #justsayin

Ah yes - big scores, but no doubt poor performances compared to the Real Madrid v Bayern Munich display I am now condemned to missing.

Millwall was ok. (apart from Hammill scoring and causing a lump of molten steak to to fall out of my pie and burn the skin off my hand)
