We Want Plates

This is a Langers original! In the Botanist in Brum in November - some pork scratchings on a wooden picture frame with apple sauce in a miniature wheelbarrow.

Bloody hell!

Surely it makes the washing up harder for those in the kitchen than if they used ordinary plates. With this thread in mind, next time I'm served food on something stupid, I'll take a pic.

No need to wash up. A swift application of sandpaper and hey presto!

I take that back after seeing Langers last pic. Sanitary towels. Nice with a rare steak ontop.

I've had that served to me in both France and Germany so I'm not sure it's that uncommon. Although the coffee was in an actual glass rather than a beaker.

Think I'll posts something similar in the coffee thread. It's a hipster coffee they serve in Australia.

My brother has been pushing WE WANT PLATES in Oz for quite a long time. I think my favourite is the bits of steak attached to a roll of barbed wire so you can pick them off.

There's a Portuguese restaurant in Cardiff where the kebabs are served on skewers that are hung from the ceiling above your table...
