Welcome Bruno Lage

Not going to bother with the rest of your post, but the answer to your first question is no and nor really sure where you can get hope from that!
Proof read the English used in the post I quote TT.
"I favour the latter" happening is not "I fear the latter will happen"

favour;

noun
  1. feel or show approval or preference for.

    2. approval, support, or liking for someone or something.

Well on Jinkys screenshot it would be best if we sack him next summer then...

Attacking football is such lazy phraseology. No point scoring 3 and conceding 4.Not saying that's going to happen, but attacking football doesn't necessarily mean winning football, unless you are one of those weidos who'd rather lose 4-3 than win 1-0?
I'd say it's obvious that anyone on this forum advocating any style of play for our team wants them to win games doing it. So much sniping going on here lately. (Not just your post - the same applies in reverse to your accidental (mis)use of 'favour'; no Wolves fan will favour that.)

For comparison... am aware this is Bruno's only managerial job and Nuno managed Rio Ave and Valencia prior (honing in on Nuno's Porto stats):

Decent record at Valencia based on losing 6 games a season to the top three and having a few other teams around you at a similar level. In another country too which shows he already had an ability to adapt to managing in a new country.

A very warm welcome to Wolverhampton and enjoy the weather! Its not always like this! Please entertain us while winning more than you lose. Its a simple equation. Get that right and this is a great job backed by one of the best crowds when they are behind you ( Ask Ruben) . However , dont shoe horn players into positions that don't appear to suit as it rarely ends well , bar Coady. You have got the gig. Now show us your stuff.

I've said this before, but I used to live with a Norwich fan at Uni who had exactly that philosophy - entertainment over results. Still has the same view today re Farke

Found it slightly reassuring that in Spiers article he said that after that bad run they actually improved and ended up winning 4 out of their last 5 games, I was under the impression he'd resigned at the end of the bad run. Also that Benfica wanted him to stay on.

Also that they only finished 5 points off the eventual champions. The impression I was getting from this forum was that the sky totally fell in and they narrowly avoided relegation or something.

So it's official, welcome aboard the Bruno bus, buckle up, enjoy the ride, and good luck everybody

While I may not be totally thrilled by our recruitment process here, I am more than happy to give the guy a chance and hope he does really well.

I can’t say I know much about him but the comments from Benfica fans are certainly very positive. This doesn’t have the feel that the appointments of Saunders and Zenga had anyway, it was obvious they were going to be a disaster.

Here’s to hopefully actually enjoying Wolves games again as it has been a while since I genuinely enjoyed watching us play.

5 points is a lifetime away in Portuguese football. Turning round a 7 point deficit the previous season has been hailed as some sort of miracle. ;)
