Welcome Bruno Lage

Yup fair point, the concern for me is goals. Jiminez first game back and already looking like he can't be taken off without totally weakening the team, get it's always going to dilute the quality but there isn't anything close to 50percent of him on the bench.

Whilst it might not look a high target if the wide players can get 7-10 goals each that would be a huge return, 10 goals was good enough for tied 20th in the scoring charts last year.

Yeah, people are idiots. Nothing anyone can do about that sadly
Its just how it goes with managers. Doing well what they say isn't really noticed but bad results and things stand out. KJ was Power, Saunders was just everything he said (although he was triggering people before results went south) and of course with Nuno it was solutions, despite him saying it for nearly all of his spell at the club.

we will see what happens with Mir

100% down to him what happens. Just like Cutrone.

Lage wants to speak with him face to face and if Mir fancies having a crack at the Prem he will get it.

DJ: "People talk about formations but once those players cross the white line, they don't matter"

DJ had a bit of Saunders about him. Not really repeating things over and over like KJ or Nuno, he just talked utter bollocks and when you are losing and heading down that bollocks doesn't half stand out

Liverpool have it right with this and I'm surprised we haven't learnt from last season.

Liverpool's main goal threats are from their wide players and expect their spearhead to contribute goals but not be the sole focus.

We don't have a goal threat from any other play than Raul right now. Adama can't shoot for shit and Trincao's goal record is middling at best. We don't have driving midfielders so can't count on them either.

It's terrible recruitment on our part to lump all that pressure on one player coming back from serious injury.

It's not helping Bruno if we can't give him the players he needs to get goals.

Yup, given his age and what we paid for him, I'd be more than happy to not see Silva at all this year if that's what the staff deem, people keep saying we need to use him as invested so much in him, but not playing doesn't mean he has been given up on. Especially given he has such a long contract. If Mir is going to be involved then great, but personally I'd like it to be Raul, Mir, another option and Silva if the idea is to transition to a two up top. Or a second new option if Mir is off.

Early prediction. If results aren't good by October everytime Bruno says "Trust the Process" it will trigger Wolves fans just like Nuno saying solutions in his final 4 months
It will be much sooner than that...probably middle of September

It's already happening on Twatter...

The head coach of the Buffalo Bills used “Trust the Process” all the time when he became coach and was derided and mocked for it. Since then they have made the playoffs 3 out of his 4 seasons, developed one of the most exciting young QBs in the NFL and are now seen as legitimate Super Bowl contenders by most. So I’m all in on the “Trust the Process” thing…

On the flip side Arteta uses it as well, so...

This has also been backed by very smart team building, trades and signings though!
