Going to caveat this with ‘I wasn’t able to see Matt Murray at his best (or at all really)’… but I’m going to say Sa is the best keeper I’ve seen at wolves.

Murray was better. He was superlative but sadly made of poppadums. I do really like Sa though.

Not sure having the ball at feet back and forth between himself and defenders would be something Murray would have found very comfortable. He commanded his area better than any Wolves keeper before or since, but he could barely kick a ball.

Murray and Sa are difficult to separate to be fair. Sa is quicker off his line MM is better on catching crosses. I think that speaks volumes for Sa as MM was a fantastic keeper and injuries robbed everyone of his ability

I liked Murray, I do think that Patricio the 1st season and possibly Sa are both if not better equal to him. Its easy for a bit of nostalgia to take hold over judging players.

Football can be weird like that, maybe more astute people than me had made that connection but I wouldn't have immediately said changing the GK would make our midfield more effective

Yeah, crazy to think how much of an impact just changing one player (especially a goalkeeper!) can have on the overall style of the whole side. I think most of us would have been happy to keep Rui, for example. But bringing Sa in has allowed several subtle changes in the way we set up, which I believe has improved us immeasurably.
