Welcome to Wolves - Conor Coady

Pre Nuno, his best performances were as a just about acceptable stand in right back.

Indeed, was one of the players we would happily have seen on his way when Fosun came in until Nuno converted him into a defender

Plenty of talk in 2016 and 2017 that Rafa wanted him for Newcastle which I assumed was just lazy linking as he knew him from Liverpool. Anyway if at any point then they'd offered us our money back or even close I'd have snapped their hands off. Shows what I know.

Kenny, Quirk and I went to watch our 23s at Bala in 2017 and the first team were playing in Austria (against Bremen maybe). The team news came through on our phones and it showed Coady in a three man defence on the usual score apps. "Nah, they've got that wrong, we won't do that"

Timbo is back on Wolves!

It's not worth reading to be honest. A nonsense parallel with Maguire (he gets stick because he is SHIT, Tim) and the trope of "he deserved a send off". What, we should have told Everton to hold off for a week then give him a two minute sub appearance vs Fulham, win, lose or draw? How would that work?

Should've stopped the game in the 16th minute and subbed him off, clearly.

That he'd have been outpaced thrice by the rapid Aleksandar Mitrovic by that point doesn't matter, Conor gets his moment.

We play Everton final home game let him join the walk round afterwards.

Amazing what the big bucks of a sponsor can persuade you to do.
