Welcome to Wolves - Conor Coady

Played alright there vs Millwall too. They were obviously terrible though.

Lots of players vying for 2/3 spots now... McDonald, Price, Evans, Saville, Rowe, Coady, Edwards (sorta), you'd imagine we'd be looking to loan out a couple or sell one.

Andre Grey or whatever the Brentford striker is called made a similar leap so Wallace could be fine.

He looks a bit like a young Roy Keene in the BBC picture on the website. If he plays half as well I will be a happy bunny!

Right age profile & from the little I have seen of him has some qualities - not unhappy to see him in & KJ must believe there is enough there for us to want to pay the level of fee that is being bandied about.

If he helps KMac to play further forwards, which is where I feel he has the most influence then all well and good. KMac in a 2 man midfield standard 4 - 4 - 2 leaves him too far for the action too often

Thelwell says that we have been watching Coady for years. So why didn't we buy him from Liverpool last year instead of H'field?
What was Webber playing at? Then Webber leaves us and goes to H'field, and Coady comes here for a lot more money.
Most peculiar.

Somebody needs to sack the PR staff/ company at Wolves they're abysmal. Trooping out shite like that makes Thelwell look a complete dithering idiot. Just shut up.

I do recall us being linked with him a few seasons ago?

Welcome cody, always nice with young additions, hopefully you can develop further with us...

We waited to see how he did at this level. Cost us about £1.6m to do so but you would think he will now hit the ground running. We burned two thirds of that on Savile who looks like he is going to struggle at this level.

Saville's an odd one as think he was at Chelsea's academy for some time & suspect you don't do that if there is no potential.

May well be the wrong club at the wrong time for him, though the few times I have seen him play have not been overly impressed & looks as if a strong breeze will blow him over

Everytime I have seen Saville he has been completely gutless. I'll be happy when we offload him. Completely powderpuff.

Saville has been totally crap

Well this time last year we were L1 and Huddersfield were a step above. Hardly inconceivable he didn't wanna drop down two divisions?

He's been a poor signing - so far.

Against Charlton he was actually pretty good first half, nearly scored a really good goal (hit inside of post and across goal). Was subbed at half time as we were one down to bring Dicko on, which was harsh on him at the time. Similarly against Blackpool and Reading, his performance wasn't too bad but results didn't go our way.

I think his attitude is the issue, against Fulham in the cup he was being a dick smashing footballs about before the game. i can imagine he's like that often, and he comes across as quite cocky.

Kenny is fair however, and should he impress in pre season he would get a chance providing he deserves it

Seville strikes me as a legend in his own mind. Brentford fans have agreed when I floated that suggestion on other forums but if he comes good credit to him. When I see Afobe speak as confident and un-flustered as he is, it's also tinged with an aspect of humility and he will be backing up his words with actions. I don't get that feeling from Saville at all.

Coady signed for H'field on 06 August 2014, and we were both in the Ch'ship.

When we were in L1, so was Coady, on loan to Sheff Utd all season from Liverpool. Played 50 games and scored 6 goals.
