Welcome to Wolves - Conor Coady

much prefer Sa to Rui as he's far more physical inside the area and will come for balls where Rui would stay on the line

I don't think it matters too much as long as they are consistent, you just defend accordingly. Some of Sa's biggest errors have been coming and not getting there or dropping it, should have given a penalty away on Saturday by doing so. The sweeper keeper element of his game is what suits how Lage wants us to play more than coming for crosses

Whilst Sa rolled all his greatest hits into 1 half v Leeds you do have to take into account he had played just 1 preseason game and had 2 weeks of full training since his injury in May.
I think we will see the same as last season, brilliance with brain fart moments thrown in.
You seem to have fallen out with me, disagree with everything I say 😅

Agreed we will get everything with Sa, great saves combined with brain farts, doesn't stop me being concerned by it

He won't be going to the games anymore so he can say what he really feels about us all now...

Sorry I seem to have derailed a thread about Coady - I didn’t mean to, it looks a bit disrespectful reading it back. Thanks Conor you have been one of my favourite wolves players ever!

Interesting to see Saiss “do a Jake Humphrey” on Instagram and suggest Coady deserved a better end.

He certainly deserved a send off, but the speedy nature of the transfer means it can't happen right now. Hopefully he gets a good reception when we play Everton at home.
I've said it already but the club and player have handled it all with dignity. It's nice to see.
Let's hope it doesn't kick us in the bollocks down the road though when we have an injury crisis!

Bittersweet.

I love Conor, he wrung out every last drop of ability and hard work. He's an example for any young player. Like most of us I'd have thanked him for never letting us down and wished him well at the end of 16/17 but watching him develop into a Premier League then England defender has been a real privilege.

The community work showed what a magnificent human being he is too, I can't lie it was upsetting watching the school bullying video. I changed schools due to bullying so it hit differently seeing him give that lad a pep talk.

With all that said, he had begun to hold us back and I'd hate for him to have gone down the same road as Tory Karl.

I really hope he gets to come back one day soon, it'll be a special moment.

I cant for one moment think that Coady hasn't said he will fight for his place, the demeanour of him and his love for Wolves surely dictated that. Its obvious that Bruno has really gone Sergeant Major this summer and said to Coady you really are surplus, yes I'm stating the obvious of course but Lage has finally grown some balls it seems.

Perhaps he worked out more of the same would mean he wouldn't have a job come Halloween?

Hopefully he gets a good reception when we play Everton at home.
He won’t be able to play in that game. That’ll have to wait until next season (if they take up the option to buy) and hope we’re still in the same league as them!

Coady’s family now getting abuse on SM from Wolves fan because his Mrs said it was “nice to see the smile back” and another female relative agreed. Strange thing for them to say openly online, but no need for our fans to go in on them.

I also notice Saiss has wished him well, while also putting the boot in on Wolves by saying he didn’t get the send off he deserves.

The top dogs at our club really do get slated by most.

Just for the benefit of fairness, Coady’s agent did tweet this;

I also want to put on record that the hierarchy at @Wolves acted with integrity. When it became apparent that Conor wasn’t in the managers’ plans, they we’re very open to allowing Conor to leave in order to get regular minutes in a World Cup year. Respect to that stance.

Mouthbreathers. Probably the same bellends who boo'd Jota and called him a traitor.

On Saiss' point, I do think the club should've been ready with some more appropriate content, highlight reel etc. I know it's only a loan, but he was such massive, massive part of our recent success, and the cobbled together photoshop didn't really do his input and influence justice, or properly demonstrate our appreciation to him.

Wolves fans: You're a cunt Coady, giving us 320 appearances and 7 years service. How Dard you leave us.

Also Wolves fans: I have no idea why Morgan won't sign a new contract.

Cunts to a man.
