Welcome to Wolves - Japan Moutinho

I really have to use the ignore function more often.

JAPAN Moutinho has said that he wanted to ensure he helped wolves eradicate the GHOSTS of the past. He has not come here for a QUIET LIFE. He left Monaco without BURNING BRIDGES. He wanted to be the only signing today as he said DONT RAIN ON MY PARADE to the staff announcing his arrival. His agent told him of Wolves interest and at first he thought AINT THAT PECULIAR! He said that he wants the fans to "FALL IN LOVE WITH ME. Once the offer was on the table I would have been SOME KIND OF FOOL to turn it down.I am really looking forward to my NEW CAREER here"
He said he knew he would end up at Wolves. He had VISIONS OF CHINA and knew that Molineux 2018 would be IN VOGUE. He had no fears about playing football in another FOREIGN PLACE. He is being taught some goal celebrations as he wants to learn English METHODS OF DANCE . The reporter interviewing him said he hope that JAPAN would win things here with Wolves. He replied I SECOND THAT EMOTION.

Sorry it had to be done.

I imagine that you spent a few minutes on that.

It's time you can't get back...

Today is a day of tears for me, tears of sadness and tears of joy.
I am getting messenger reports of the true disaster and the dreadful way people have met their end in the Greek fires, and wolves are making an old man happier than he deserves.
If I didn't have to work tonight I would just get slammed on cypro, but as it is, I have to ride an astonishing , emotional roller coaster.
Now if Fosun had fire fighting aeroplanes, I would believe in god!

I've seen the news reports, and a cycle blogger I follow who lives in Greece has been sort of reporting on it,horrific is the only word, forgot you were out there, hope you or any friends or family don't get affected, stay safe mate.

Hope you're safe and well away from the fires pavlos, it looks an absolute nightmare over there.

Since we are bumping old welcome threads...

In the 34 years I've been watching wolves this guy is the best player I've ever seen in our shirt. Sorry Bully, but this guy takes the biscuit. Pure class.

I would say you get what you pay for but seriously, £5m?? That fee is insane!

Why they sold him for that god knows. The complete player for me has everything. Him and Neves is a dream to watch.

Should be a great couple of years for Neves playing alongside him, as good as Neves already is you can see what he's still got to learn when he's next to Moutinho.

Think Neves has probably got a slightly greater range of passing but Moutinho just shades him in everything else at the moment from what I've seen, the defensive side of his game has really surprised me as it's not something I would've ever associated him with whereas with Neves you can still see some flaws there despite his willingness to do the dirty work he can commit unnecessary fouls at times. Also, think Moutinho gets about the pitch a bit better than Neves, certainly more willing to get ahead of play a bit more often when Neves seems to sit almost constantly behind the ball apart from when it's with the back three. He made one great run in the passage of play first half that came to nothing with Jonny failing to play Doherty through where he'd played the ball out left and then raced into a massive gap between United's midfield and attack, think at times Wolves have looked a bit cautious in possession going side to side looking for an opening but that sort of run really opens things up with another passing option and provides the opportunity to then try and play one of the forwards through from a central position instead.

Happy Joao day everyone!

Thanks for memory of what a "Welcome to Wolves..." thread looks like.

The best value for money signing we have done since Bully - & always good to look back at 'memorable' threads/titles :icon_lol:
