West Ham (A) Build Up and Matchday Thread

Excellent result - Adama made a HUGE difference when he came on - and fantastic strike by Neto.

Really happy with that, the first game was always going to be a bit weird

Well, well, well. We seem to have slipped straight back into gear rather nicely. Excellent!

Traore and Neto superb contributions.

What a cross, what a hit.

That Black Lives Matter lad had a great match.

Scarily bang on from Nuno. Faultless game plan

Lost me my bet though...

We now have more than 11 players who we can bring on to win games - a couple of years ago we didn't

We are growing

Distinctly the better team but West Ham made us earn it and needed that little bit of quality from Traore and Neto to bring home the bacon. Delighted though. Especially for Neto, what a hit son!

As people said pre-match, you can understand wanting to ease our way in and control the middle of the park.

Great to have some decent strength to bring on nowadays. Podence must wonder what he has to do to get in the team.

Podence will yet his chance I am sure. A very good footballer but no rush with him

dont want this but maybe Adama will go and Podence will play there

Watching Bournemouth v palace now. I would still like Ake here. Ake Coady Boly back three. Wow

Really like Ake too..very good both in attack and defence, good with ball and heading

Would be a significant upgrade on Saiss and allow Saiss to move into midfield if required

I know Saïss looked a little rusty today but he's had a much better season than Ake so far. It would have to be a seriously good player to shake him out of the first XI for me.

Personally don't think Ake is any better than Saiss, we'll have to spend serious cash to improve that area
