What are you currently listening to....

Spitfire off The War Room is probably my favourite track of theirs.

night mail off the first album, EVA and the Other side off the race for space (but tredders is right, the whole album), and every valley is great- they gave me a lamp is immense, and their tack with James dean bradfield is superb. The white star liner ep is also really blooming good.

Just listened to the lot this morning on my Spotify

On right now it’s Heartbeat by Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian. Pure brilliance. Truly.

Oh and anything and everything by Michael Kiwanuka. Awesome.

I'd like to sign
But my funds have been so denied

I am loving the most recent Maiden album. senjutsu. The first side seemed very immediate on first listen but the four long tracks on side b (second disk these days!) are tremendous. I get loads of Powerslave and Seventh Son vibes. Best Maiden album in probably thirty years.

I don't mean this to have a go at you, Ben, but...

Pearl Jam have always been the Walmart of grunge bands to me. There, I said it.

I love them. My throat is always sore after listening to a few songs. Who do you prefer?

I was always a Soundgarden (and, by extension, Temple of the Dog) person. RIP Chris Cornell

Yeah another amazing voice. I'm shit with genres but looking at it, I like quite a lot of grunge stuff. Will always be an emo at heart though (dressed like a chav)
