What's the earliest you've left a match?

The last time I managed to get to Molineux was when Wolves played Spurs towards the end of the 1970s or early 1980s. i thought the score was 1 each. Looking at the list of results, it must have been in 1981 when Wolves lost 1-nil. It was my only time in the, then new, Steve Bull stand ... though it was well before his days.

I certainly wasn't at Chorley.

Closest I've ever came in a "fuck this" sense was when Keet Andrews put Albion 4-1 up.
That's when I walked.
Never leave early if the game is on the line or we are winning, have done if we are buried and under Hoddle often did out of apathy, must have been 3/4 I didn't even bother going to despite having a st.
Only time I really missed something was the Sheff Utd 2-2.
Didn't leave, but was still on the concourse from ht until the pen was given in the 4-3 Leicester game

The Honved friendly game when we opened the ‘new’ molineux. Dreadful game and realised I didn’t give a fuck what happened.

Very nearly left the Wednesday penalties cup game early. Luckily my Dad talked me out of it.

Half time v Burton in the promotion season. (we won 3-1)

It was my 4 year old daughters first game, I don't know if any of you recall the weather that day, but I've never known anything like it, Molineux had turned into a tundra, hot drinks immediately freezing when spilled, blizzards, high winds, insane, especially for March.

We were sat in the family enclosure, so felt more exposed than usual, it was it was just horrendous and my daughter wasn't overly happy about it, typically by the time we had got to to the car the sun had come out! :ROFLMAO:

We all like a happy ending, and on Saturday I'm taking her to her SECOND ever game, as it's August and she is now 8 she will hopefully enjoy it far more!

never left early, but has been hinted at I'm not someone who has been able to tot up as many games as most posters (although I haven't done too badly in the past 5-6 years!)

only time I considered it was the home game v liverpool in the prem under Mick the season we went down. we lost 3-0. eggert johnsson played, and carroll was up top for liverpool. roger johnson was in his prime, and the atmosphere was just so poisonous that I actually started feeling sorry for some players.

I’ve never been one to leave early. But I do often tactically start moving towards the exit to find a nearer empty seat so I can get out sharpish once the final whilst is blown.

It was the opposite for me regarding the Wednesday game, I talked my dad out of going early.

Only left early because of the kids being young. Think I left about half hour early against Brentford under Kenny the lad was piss bored, freezing and had no interest in the game (about 4 at the time) and to be fair the football was awful.

Maybe 3 times, all when my old man took my brother and I to three away games in the early 90's (I'd have been about 10 or 11). Never once on my own steam though no matter how awful we've been.

Been a few games where I’ve had to make extreme efforts to get to it then thought why did I bother.
Most were in my forces days when I had to travel from Brize Norton.
2003 Chelsea at home 0-5 1230 kick off we were back from Basra. Landed at 0700 straight back to my room shower changed straight on the train. No sleep for nearly 2 days.
5-1 in 2003 to Arsenal’s youth team missed the last bus from Oxford to Brize had to pay £30 for a taxi.
NYD 2005 v Plymouth stayed up all night caught the first train back to Wolves. My dad couldn’t make it from Bridgnorth because he had a hangover.

I've never left early personally, other than a few minutes to beat the scrum into the concourses when there was nothing riding on it.

I'm sure I remember someone driving to the ground, saw the team news, then drove all the way home again!

I was supposed to be going to Watford away in 2005 under Hoddle then heading into London later to see a mate. Train was approaching Watford Junction at around 2pm and I heard Leon Clarke was starting on the left wing, so just stayed on all the way to Euston and met up earlier, sacked the game off despite having a ticket. Lost 3-1.

I remember this one, we were absolutely shocking and Seol scored a consolation with the last kick of the game. I remember being bemused at people cheering the goal, I was so angry with the whole thing.

£30 from Oxford to Brize isn't bad, don't think I ever got a taxi that cheap to Witney from Oxford!

The earliest i ever left was in a 79 cup quarter final v Shrewsbury. The teams hadnt even come out, but i was on my way out, with the help of the Wolverhampton Constabulary.

The only time I left early was vs Arsenal - first season in the Premier league I think. I felt sick as F*** and left before kick off - met all my mates coming in as I was trying to get down the steps in the Billy Wright without vomiting! Just got back to the car by the West Park - to be ill in a degree of privacy 😂 . Drove back to Cheshire listening to the commentary - didn't help at all!
