Sniffer's thread covers this, but I know there's a number of people who vote on polls who don't post so I'll set this up as well.

Assume we have the transfer window you expect. If you think we are signing the next Cafu at RWB then go with that, the same if we you think we are going to fudge a year with Adama and Buur.

I'll hold off to vote until the end of the transfer window when I know what shape the squad is in! Difficult to predict until then.

If we didn't sign anyone else, as it stands, I would say 8th-10th. But I reckon we'll get a RWB and maybe one other - which could push us towards 6th/7th if we're lucky.

Like Jinky, I'll hold off, although I see the poll closes on Monday morning. Even this weekend could see a significant shift in players. If our WBs are Telles and Corona then I think we'll break into the top 6. If they're Adama/Sanderson/Buur and Vinagre then bottom half. But let's see on Monday...

Not a lot of point having a pre season poll which ends a month into the season

I've said 7th (being slightly more pessimistic than in prediction table) as it stands. Could go up to 6th if we get additions right to help improve the team further.

I don't think it would be a fair poll as we have no way of knowing what our finished squad is going to be. Probably wait till October to give a full assessment.

Why does somebody always vote were getting relegated ? :)

Challenging for a European spot that we might or might not get. 6th-8th. Yesterday I felt optimistic so went with 6th, today not so much, so 8th

5-6 feels optimistic. 8-10 feels pessimistic.

I'll go with 14th.

7th again for me. Could go a place higher if Silva or Vitinha make an immediate impact, I have a sneaky feeling Podence could have a breakthrough season too.

On the flip side, I think if the wing back situations don't work out we could drop a place or two. Think it will be a tougher league this year than last and 7th will be harder, with Arsenal and Spurs more stable, Leicester still a threat, maybe even Everton or Southampton knocking on the door, and always the chance of a wild card team like Sheff Utd last year

A lot of teams around us are heavily reliant on a single centre forward. If Kane, Vardy or Aubamayang miss a few games we could easily finish above Spurs, Arsenal and Leicester. Similarly if we lose Raul we will probably drop back. I think 8th would be a good finish unless we bring in a really top RWB (much better than Doherty). As a predominantly young squad I think we might need another year before challenging the top four.

Earlier on in the window I put a bet on lower half - now, I’m liking the squad we are putting together, so it’s 6th or 7th for me.

5th, although it's pin the tail on the donkey while the window is still open

Agree with Tony, season starts Monday for us so you have to make a call on what we currently have, so 8th for me
sign AML or Estevez and 6th/7th
Sign Telles or Corona and 5th or 6th
Will be a disappointment if we finish below 10th

I am going 8-10 as although we have invested we don't yet know how well the newbies will gel or fit in. I think that is a realistic guess. Bottom half would not be good especially as we have far fewer games. I will also love a cup run and a cup final would be awesome but given the downgrade on the Carabao I guess that will be a field a kids competition again.

Obviously depends on the rest of our recruitment so I'm going 6-8, I'm quite excited about the start of the season
