We have pretty much the same team as last season, with the addition of new signing mexican Raul Jiminez 😂😂

We are not relegation candidates not with our squad, conversly we are not pushing the top 10, as we have regressed slightly, Jota not replaced.

Still have a few Injuries. With tge current squad 11th - 14th.

Pick up a few Signings could push top 10

The key for me will be whether / how soon Bruno can get an effective way of playing and picking up points in the PL. Although there were issues last season, Nuno managed that more often than not since we came up.

I think we all have question marks over whether Bruno's attacking style can be implemented successfully without significant investment, the PL is very unforgiving.

Excited to see it unfold though!

You've let me down Del. Can normally count on you for the relegation vote 😃

I've gone 10th as I think we badly underperformed last year, even without Raul. Yes we've arguably downgraded the GK but Rui wasn't great last year anyway.

With Raul, plus the two signings I expect us to make in a mobile DM to go alongside Neves and a quick CB, with our firepower up front we're capable of giving anyone a game IMO. If Yerson steps up as well, even better.

I'm quite positive, looking at everyone's else's posts think I'm in a small minority though. If you can't be positive before a balls been kicked, when can you!

11-14th. Being pessimistic I thought that we’d be in a bit lower but looking at the division from my prediction of 8th down there’s quite a few teams we should be finishing above.

I'm in agreement with you on all points, but don't have the recruitment confidence that you do

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Since they've come I'd say their record on signings has been pretty good in the main. If we get Yokuslu, which seems likely, that's good enough for me. Think him and Neves would compliment each other in midfield, then you've got Moutinho and Dendonker as back ups.

Then it's just the long awaited new CB. My only concern is they deem Yerson to be that player, it might have be a blessing in disguise he got injured in a way.

Judging by Lage's comments he seems to be expecting more, so we'll have to wait and see. The longer it goes on the twitchier I'm getting though!

You've lost me there!

I'd probably have gone 8-12th really, pretty poor options imo.

I think at the end of the day, everybody from 7th down would probably take Raul, Neto, Adama and Neves in a heart beat, and so even if the quality around them isn't great, we're not in any real danger. We all know what players we need, but I don't think we're going to get the quality tbh, so top ten is probably the upper limit of what we can expect

i've gone 11th-14th - i think that assumes we complete additional signings and strengthen. it feels more like a step into the unknown than last few seasons so anything above that i'll take as a bonus.

11th - 14th for me.
Surely we will finish above Norwich, Brentford, Watford, Newcastle, and Southampton.
Suspect tough start to the season on paper will prove to be exactly that, but hopefully by November we will have clawed our way to lower mid table where we will stay.
EPL to come as a rude shock to Bruno and his staff.

How longs a piece of string? Really could end up being anything from 7th-18th. I think we’ll struggle this season probably around 14th-15th.
Expect some entertainment and some thumpings.

7-10th. I am feeling optimistic , in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

I can only tell you where I've put my money.
Wolves to finish top half at 11/4
And Skybet had 11/10 Wolves to get more than 45 points. Well we got 45 points last season largely without Raul and being bloody awful to watch, so I had the biggest bet Sky would allow me on that one.

15-17, but I’m trying to be optimistic there. Frighteningly, I’m expecting a visit from Big Sam before Christmas.

Good shout on the points. Bet365 have us at 5/4 to get over 44, if you want some more free money 🤞.
