Wolves 0-2 Crystal Palace: Verdict Thread

I'm just stepping in to join in. Hope you don't mind! What Nuno did or did not is utterly irrelevant. What matters is what Lage is doing. Which is awful to watch with so few things created it is boring. He needs to sort that. Rapidly.

Bit of a stretch to blame Nuno for the current results, but I admire the reach.
I'm not blaming Nuno at all. I'm saying, like Johnny said, that we have a way of playing that the managers adhere to.

Surely it's not contentious to say that the failings we've seen this season aren't exactly new

I think there's a bit of over-reaction (and slight opportunism?) that's mainly come about due to three shit defeats in a row.

In fairness, two of those defeats were in pretty tough away games to teams above us in the league.

It's shite, and worthy of concern, but just like Bruno wasn't the Second Coming when we looked like we were in the top four-to-six mix last month, he's now not suddenly the love child of Jones and Hoddle... imo
Happy to admit there’s a good bit of reason in your post - how can I deny, it’s an emotional thing after all. Likewise you can probably imagine there is reason in those of who would rather see change, not least as I’ll be taking the ‘opportunity’ to travel into the small hours on Thursday / Friday to support them again, and I’d like to see the sort of conviction that normally comes from the top.

Indeed, the players were blamed when Nuno was faltering, they seem to get off Scott free now it's Bruno faltering. It's obvious why, but it's transparent.
Genuinely surprised by that. Outside of this reasonable debate all I seem to hear is how this player, that player, all the players are ‘shit’, depending on the week. I think they’re pretty good and tend to like them.

So the players are just doing what they want under not one but two managers?

Or are the managers not getting the players to do what they want?

DW, if you were Jeff Shi for a day, what would you do? (Apart from taking the money and running)

Genuinely curious because I can't figure it out either, feels like we'll just have to stomach another period like this until he gets sacked, but not with many great options to follow. I think of the Palace game and wonder if someone like Vieira would be tempted to come here, and even then I doubt it which makes me worry who would.

It wouldn't matter if Vieira did want to come here, we wouldn't go for him because he's not on the Mendes carousel.

Commit to keeping Saiss and Moutinho (it'll cost money to replace them)

Underline to Lage that things need to improve between now and the end of May, otherwise he's gone. And stop being weird as well

Get Mendes to get us 1 x CH and 1 x AM, because we've needed them for years

New 5 year deal for Neves

Tell Barca we're 100% not taking Trincao, if they want Adama then pay for him

Pie off that wanker Mr Miami

Sack Vinny Clark

Cut ST prices by 10% as a gesture of goodwill and a mea culpa that they got it wrong

Target a proper DoF as Sellars isn't one

Bin goal music

All done in time for a chippy tea and a pint of Guinness.

We have Bovril in the NB. Or we did not long ago! Sure Kenny and I had one pre-Leicester.

Not Mr Miami, but anyone see the guy on the bike shouting "out of the way football wankers " going around the back of the NB on Saturday? Apparently some weirdo who films himself being a dickhead and putting it on YouTube, normally involves pushing people in the cut according to one geezer

Can’t disagree with a word!

Ta, can we pin this post to the top of the page please. Takes something to get Cybers full agreement too.
