Wolves 0 - Blackburn 0 - going for a new record verdict thread

Christ no one deserves that!

He did say "highlights" suggesting it will consist of about 15 seconds as the ref calls the players over for kick off followed by a cut away to the ref blowing for full time. So not great viewing but no more than 30 seconds to put up with.

Highlights (over 2 mins!)

You can actually hear the sarcasm in the cheers for Siggy's (tame) on target shot, which was the only one we managed

I like the fact "Goal Cam" has now become "Save Cam"

I think my support for perceived poor players stems from when I was a kid, we had a player called John Holsgrove who was seen as the likes of Edwards, Coady and Docherty are seen now.
I was returning from an away game (late sixties) I was only about 14, coach stopped at the services on the Motorway and the Team were also there and I had a good chat with him telling him that 'I don't think you're that bad' as you do when you're a kid.
Anyway, that support for the frowned upon has stayed with me all my life.

I thought Holsgrove was terrible. The Doog went on record as saying he was the best centre-half in Division One. Then Ronnie Allen signed a midfielder from Aberdeen called Frank Munro (who wore the number 10 shirt in his first game for us) who became the best centre-half in Division One, without doubt. Holsgrove would walk into the present Wolves side and would easily be our best and most consistent player. That's how far we've progressed since the late sixties!

TBH I think most of us are capable of "scapegoating", with me its Mcdonald and Evans (although not sure he'll pull on a shirt for Wolves again) I guess if you notice a player is crap, you tend then to only notice the crap and overlook the good points and vice versa.

This is true, and me included

nice! as a club, we're re-inventing football. we just need to appreciate it's not all about goals and ambition.

(this is tongue in cheek btw)
