Wolves 1-0 Leeds: Verdict Thread

Good game, played well.

Good win that, some good elements in the performance too, but would imagine Leeds had the higher xg.

rui man of the match, three very welcome points. Well done boys!!

Another good result.

10 points from 12.

Adama looking useful cutting inside, Neto great as usual. Moutinho/Neves full of energy and quality, and Semedo's best game overall.

Long may it continue!
..and Rui MOTM

Rui won that for us, but would be interested to know how many of those chances from set pieces would have been offside. They were certainly close.

Another win, looking lots more confident now.

Skillllllz.

Nice to Semedo putting a run of tidy games together. Now, if we can teach Traore how to trap a ball, we'll be in business.

Very tight game. Rui did well at the end. A marginal, but correct, offside decision the difference between two closely matched teams. 10 points from 12 - didn't see that coming!

Pleased we won but we never dominated the game & then started time wasting that almost cost us dear.

attacking is so much better. best game for a long while. best first half in eons. semedo/neto works so much better than traore, who again looked much better on the other side.

defense still needs work. rui won that game for us. set pieces and throw ins still bad.

game management was disappointing to see. basically tried to waste the last 15? 20?

good result

I thought that too - and by the look of it so did Coady and Neves!

I thought the same as you but replays suggest they were all onside.

3 wins off champions league football.

The forwards look much better when Neto and Traore cut in and I don't think it is coincidence that Semedo is beginning to look like the player we expected with Neto in front of him. A little more composure/luck and he could have scored twice.

OK but other posters seem to think Rui saved us?

He did win it for us. As I said, we reduced them to nothing set pieces aside. They didn't threaten in open play particularly.
