Wolves 1-0 Leeds: Verdict Thread

I thought she was pretty good, agreed it was more of a radio commentary, but having not heard her before I liked her
Honestly can’t see how a bad word could be said. I don’t mind Goodman, but we normally get Hinchcliffe on sky. Genuinely hate the bloke and ive never met him.

That is mad.

I'd have fully taken that when we first learned of Rauls injury
The only fly in the ointment in comparing PPG with last season is that to be at the same level as we were last season after 30 games we’ll need 13 points from the next 5. Still, whatever, this evening was great 🙂

It was like she'd done her revision for an exam and wanted to include everything she knew in the answer. Her knowledge wasn't in question, just the need to spew out as much information whenever the opportunity arose.

At least that biased baggy-eyed Martyn Tyler wasnt commentating. The closet Man City fan, why dont Sky put him out to graze ?

Now I like FotMob as an app. Loads of leagues, line ups, goalscorers, cards etc. But, honestly, this is their summary of Patricio tonight...

Report from FotMob... "Rui Patricio (GK) - 6/10 - Practically a spectator on his 100th Premier League game. Had little to do until stoppage time but was alert enough to keep Leeds at bay." 🤣

I mean, wtf man!

He’s no John Ruddy....

If you believe the wording of the Gruniad then Tyler Roberts take seems refreshingly balanced. Not so much Bielsa. We need to find a way to get Jose animated in the box to back up his decent contribution in build up. He’s done that at Real, though he has always been inconsistent (which to some degree is encouraging). Thought Fabio looked neat when he came on (I’d still start Jose for the next few games come what may).

Wolves are the first team to do the double over a Bielsa team since 2014/15 in a top flight division.

Wow.

Fabio looks better purely because there’s someone else to to take the pressure off.

if we pay, I don’t know £5m, to have WJ (regardless of your thoughts on his ability), it will help Fabio out no end for me in the long run.

I thought she'd done more research on wolves than almost every other co-commentator tbh. She referenced Nuno's relationship with the psychologist (even a lot on here thought he was a coach or a tactics guru ffs), Nuno not having seen his family, a few nuggets from pedro's recent interview. Yeah, she's clearly a Leeds lass, but she'd clearly done her homework on the general tidbits and our tactical challenges.

Rather that that Don Goodman and whoever was commentating suggesting that Traore was having his arm greased up to keep him warm, despite every greasing being televised for the previous few weeks ffs
It was Andy Hinchcliffe, not Don Goodman

That makes sense. WJ has a significant haul of goals at a high level and the attributes to succeed in England. He hasn’t been great since pitching up, but I hope there are goals to come, and it appears, to me, to be helping Fabio to have him starting regardless. Still good business for me.
