Wolves 1-0 Olympiacos: We're All (virtually) Off To Germany Verdict Thread

I think I will be asking for the five games back as cash refund. No point in giving me ticket cash for season after next if I am 24 hours on a plane away from Molineux.

STH who haven't claimed an Olympiakos refund are owed 5 free games. If the 8k or thereabouts restriction lasts for the season, they'd only end up charging us for one game.

In which case I'll be as happy as I can be under the circumstances.

You sound like you're even more of a consumer than me when it comes to Wolves!

Things change all the time, they might have had a range of plans but who knows what other information the club is privy to that we mere mortals aren't, there might have been something ready to roll out and higher powers have changed tack rendering them unfeasible now requiring a rethink. As said previously, if you're comfortable with the club holding your cash as credit then give them the benefit of the doubt and have a little patience in these strange times to allow them to figure something practical out, if you aren't comfortable with that or need the cash then the refund would've been the better option for you, something you can probably still request now if you're that bothered.

And if you've never heard a non-American say dude you probably need to get out more, honoured you feel I'm part of the TWF clique though, wonder if that'll hold enough weight for me to tag in on the next RL sesh, guys?

Awesome, you're much more conveniently located than having to traipse all the way down to Wolverhampton for a quick handy.

You can't say dude, dude, only we can say dude.

Si King from The Hairy Bikers says it all the time and he's a geordie.

I'd love to know how much of that you understood.

Just "geordie", the rest was gibberish. :icon_lol:

David Bowie wrote a song about dudes so it's all good with me

*waits for the “it was Mott the Hoople” comment without checking who wrote it for them moment*

You can tell that was written by Bowie just by listening to it, just like Islands in the Stream, Heartbreaker and Chain Reaction weren't written by Kenny Rodgers & Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick and Dianna Ross respectively.

Of course. It has an aroma of Bowie all over it. I will call it my second fave Bowie song behind Suffragette City. At this point my tin hat is on and I am ducking behind the parapet.

That's a good shout for second best Bowie song tbf.

Used to love playing Suffragette City in our little band.......it was a complete row of course cos we weren't very good, but it was still a blast playing it

That deadline related to when there was a reasonable prospect of another European game to get credit for. That’s gone for at least a season so the club will no doubt arrange a full refund scheme in due course. Until they do the hands of the ticket office are rather tied.

Agree, its the club (and decision makers) at fault dragging their feet rather than the ticket office in particular.

I am a member not a season ticket holder. As soon as I realised the Olympiakos match wouldn't be played with spectators and I wouldn't be going to another game then I e-mailed the ticket office and received a refund within 3 days.

Yes but plenty of us kept what was offered a credit for a European game next season.

Nearly two weeks now since confirmation of no European football next season and still now news.
