He is very shit but his permanent victim teammates Ayew and Zaha are head and shoulders the worst thing on the pitch for Palace.

Special mention to Coote who realised he hadn't been cockend for 45 mins so made up for it. Swear he closes his eyes and then guesses what has happened.

Good performance, I wanted these players in this formation having more minutes together, so job done.

Palace were thoroughly unambitious, but we played well. Neves good (excellent first half), Semedo possibly best game for us, Adama played quite well a little more centrally and very pleased to see him score.

Good to see Pat on and putting himself about, would be happy to start him next couple of games at least and have Fabio come on for some concentrated minutes to continue his development. I'm not worried about the kid but it's just a big job filling Raul's shoes, he needs to share the spotlight a bit.

Didn`t think this was Neves best game. He was clearly the defensive midfielder cause Moutinho and Dendoncker took turns being the attacking one. Defensively sound, but his passing was not up to his usual standards.

I've watched Silva every game he has played, and I think it's a waste of a shirt. He's always on the back foot and doesn't 't read the the game very well.

He’s just too young and physically weak for the role we are asking him to do - it’s unfair. He’s clearly going to be a good player, just not right yet.

I thought RAN did well. Looked solid and got formed well.

Thought he gave it away every time he had it. Had second most touches in the game when it flashed up and I honestly couldn’t remember him doing anything useful with the ball.

admittedly I wasn’t as focussed as a normal game.

RAN wasn't timewasting. It was us doing our usual thing of taking forever to offer any kind of option for the thrower.

Plus other players took way longer over throws and didn't get booked. Coote is a dreadful referee but this isn't new. How he managed to miss Neto being tripped from about a yard in front of him I'm not sure. Thankfully he had nothing important to do today.

Oh, he did miss Butland handling a backpass. Doesn't matter if he picks it up, touch it with your gloves, free kick.

The problem is your viewing him as the finished article and expecting as much, he never was meant to be, but one day he will be

Agreed, but we need more than a project right now. Fabio will be good, but he offers nothing goal wise, and we need that badly as we all know.

Shouldn't be heading it.

Even if you don't know you have time for a touch (he did), then it's a volley there, 100%. The only way a header is working from that chance is if you hurl yourself at it, Keith Houchen style.

Movement was good though to lose the defender and stay onside.

His acceleration isnt good enough, if he had been faster he could have scored not once, but twice today. I dont think he can be our center forward for a while at least.

I know he is not the finished article, but I haven't seen any improvement. I'm probably expecting too much.
