Mediocre result to go with a mediocre performance. 1st half was very poor, 2nd half was much better but had to be, and that should have been the bare minimum throughout.

Toto Gomes my MOTM. Constant desire to win balls and a couple of great challenges.

The atmosphere made the ground sound empty at the end of the Radio comms, which sounded fair for those who attended and sat through that.

Coady looked injured to me with how slow he was moving

How we’re 8th this season I’ll never knowvery good chance we’ll drop to 10th even that is flattering us.
Last 6 games have been an utter shambles, W0D4L2 GF4 GA12
Against Newcastle, Burnley, Brighton, Chelsea, Man City, Norwich.
After the Villa game the least I would’ve expected is 7 points.
Another selection pontoon from Bruno.
Anybody who thinks we’re in better shape than last season is kidding themselves.

20 goals in 19 home games

I'm astonished anyone is fine with the prospect of paying *more* to watch that next season

I don't know how on earth we got into contention for top 4 but the collapse since then has been remarkable - Europe was there for the taking and they've utterly, utterly fucked it

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed

Well, maybe a little angry

Norwich lost their last two games 3-0 and 4-0 yet looked our equals. I’d consider reasonable offers for everyone except RAN, Sa, Neto and Chiquinho, just don’t let Lage anywhere the resulting transfer kitty

Absolute bollocks.

Pie off Lage, entertain offers for the stale old guard, start again.

Bar Toti, a very poor game all round from players and manager. The scale of transformation required over the summer is extremely frightening regardless of whether we keep Bruno or not.

Has there ever been a side who have carried out the scale of changes being suggested at Wolves this summer and done well? It feels similar to that Fulham team that spent something like £150m on 10 players and got relegated.

Well, it will give the hierarchy a good excuse to explain why they won`t be making sweeping changes.

If Lage is the problem then it should be relatively easy to fix, if it's Lage and the players then it might get a bit bumpy

We don’t need 10 but half that is a minimum.

Not surprising he refused to elaborate further. I thought the “tactics” around Jonny in particular were farcical - he seemed to be RCB then when Fabio and Podence came on I thought he was RB but seemed to be playing as some sort of weird right sided CDM.

Then there’s the other tactical weirdness-es of Jimenez as RW, Hwang as CAM, Fabio at RW/RCF, Podence as LCAM which I Cba to discuss further given Bruno clearly hadn’t bothered to think about it

Awful, just terrible. Again not individually at fault collectively shit. Clueless from the off, I have no idea what the formation was second half - neither did the players from the looks of it.

Terrible game and equally dire performance tactically disjointed and just boring to watch . It's easy to blame players but this is surely all down to Bruno and his coaching ability or maybe lack of.

I hope to all of the gods out there he gets his P45 ASAP as I don't think I can stomach any more this shit he is serving up. A dreadful Norwich were as good as us through the 90 minutes that is a huge fucking worry for our future under Bruno

We’ve played for several weeks as if it didn’t matter much, although, of course, it did.
The players must bear responsibility for the number of poor performances, but it seems obvious that there is also a disconnect between the coach and the players.
Normally that means the coach goes, as that is the simplest solution, and I think Bruno should go.
The added problem we have is that many of the team look stale, and in need of a change.
It’s a conundrum I’m glad I don’t need to deal with, but Messrs Shi and Sellars do, and unless there are clear directives from Shanghai for them to follow, it could get messy.
I think I’d begin with a new coaching team, but who knows?
