A decent point and a good performance. Though it was helped by their early goal as they just sat and let us have the ball.

Deserved equaliser though. And Fabio should have done better with his header. Misjudged it when he should have been expecting it to get to him.

We played much better than I thought we would - kudos for Nuno in predicting Spurs tactics. Still think there is room to take one of the front 4 out and replace with Otasowie or Vitinha. I’d go with the guy who loves a pout and a pointless flick.

Semedo MotM for me, played really well.

Harry Kane is a fucking disgrace, shouldn’t even be captaining milwall let alone England.

That was the best we've played in some time, IMO.

I don't think Nuno can carry any blame for "dropping" the two points. This system works, I think today proved that. However, we have too many players who are still, for whatever reason, only at 75% or 80% of what we know they can give us. Neves, Moutinho, Podence, Traore... These are players who can and should be thriving for us, and they aren't. Moutinho, okay, he's getting old. He can't do it like he used to. The other three have less excuses and they need to fix it.

We cannot go on with players like Podence only really turning up for ten minutes per game. Granted, that sort of thing is to be expected as a midtable side. But if we want to push for Europe every year, it is now down to the individual players to put it together and earn it.

Nuno is giving this team the tools to be special again. They just have to pick them up and use them.

It’s a good result, and in lots of ways, a good performance, but we didn’t create many really good opportunities.

Semedo man of the match for me, crossing aside, I thought he was excellent.

patricio should have done better with the goal (was an absolute shocker by his high standards.)

Silva played well but should have done better with the late opportunity. Hope we have someone lined up to come in on the second.

For all those slagging Podence, would you have swapped him for Son for that 90 minutes ??

Decent point, maybe it should have been 3, but a good performance that Nuno will be happy with i'm sure. Next match i would use Neves/Owen in midfield. Stay the same elsewhere as long as Marcal is fit.

Deserved equaliser, even if we hadn’t created enough in that half really. And then the best chance of the game to win it.

Neves/Moutinho (and Otasowie did alright when on the pitch) did a really good job of delaying their breaks, although they were quite laboured in general.

semedo was very good I thought, as was Saiss.

indivudally, think the 3 behind Fabio didn’t quite click or make the right decisions, but they sure do pose a threat! Gives the opposition something to consider.

As in match day thread, I’d be going 4231 most games for rest of the season. We are much more fluid, with more options in final third. When Podence, Neto, Traore make better decisions around penalty area I’m hopeful we can create a lot more.

proper tough now going into united game with over 24 hours less rest. Absurd but have to try and stay in the game

We don't have the clinical finishers just now - they are all learning so goals will be hard to come by

Good performance apart from that though Spurs just sat back a bit after their early goal which wasn't a good idea.

We are still a good team, but still learning and adjusting to an occasional changeof formation.

No - our attackers had far more purpose than Song or the cheating Kane who should have been booked for simulation - as he should be most matches.

A point is the least we deserved, much the better side for 89 minutes. Neves ran the midfield, and Semedo was quality.

Kane is such a diving, whinging cheat. Tries to ref the games, and Tierney let him tonight.

Shout out to Neves' in the 21st minute tackling Semedo instead of Ndombele. :ROFLMAO:

Son isn’t in our squad last time I checked.

We didn't look too far off at all tonight, although, as said, they helped us out by thinking one goal was enough. Fair result, but what a pity Raul wasn't there to score that last-minute winner. Semedo did some good things, but he's still making too many errors for me.

I didnt think he did much wrong. He got caught under one high ball but I can't remember any glaring errors otherwise.

Decent is the word of the day. Decent performance, I said at half time if Nuno wants us to play like this then let's give the players a few games to let it settle.

Spurs had no ambition and were comfortable for most of the match, probably trusting we had little in our locker to really trouble them. Obviously the gamble didn't pay off, but Romain's header was one of the few moments of quality in their final third.

I don't think this game is the best one to judge our defence on, but you could argue that four at the back doesn't make us that more porous defensively, but that extra man going forward does have the potential to make us more dangerous.

I'd like to see this set up again and hope that familiarity leads to better quality. Hope this decent result gives us some confidence and belief

Otasowie in the middle of the park next game please, don't mind who he's next to.

Semedo was fine, Traore a little better than usual, Pod and Neves had under par first halves and OK second halves.

Way more positives than negatives - best game I’ve seen from Semedo - Traore much better too. Podence could do with trying a trick or two less.
We seemed to have way more options in the final third, even if the last pass or focal point wasn’t quite there.
