That were a proper, old fashioned centre forward's goal. Cross from t'right winger wi' brylcreem on 'is 'air. Thumpin' 'eader from t'big man up top.

That Jimenez goal was a lot harder than it looked, there aren't many forwards in the world would have put that away. Amazing finish.

How many forwards are there in the world better than Raul at the moment? I think you can count them on one hand.

Hopefully Shearer's on MotD again, he'll be gushing over that

Oh and Saiss MOTM for me, he was flawless.

First half was poor, just outnumbered in midfield. From second half whistle we really turned it up and just a matter of time till we scored and then we just managed the game, thoroughly professional performance.....still gives me the heeby jeebys when we sit back and control the game, even though we're really good at it

He and Boly were both superb. Boly even went on a couple of rampaging forward gallops. Can you imagine being faced with him charging towards you!?

Routine win really and that's exactly what you need to do in the current situation. Minimum effort expended, maximum points.

Mathematically safe now not that it was ever a problem

Coady was my MOTM his balls out to Doherty or Traore were top notch

During a period of Bournemouth going down at the slightest touch Saiss gave Wilson a good whack. I liked that, he got booked for it but it was worth it

Ake impressed for them. Positioning and control was a street ahead of the rest of the defence. Decent left wand too. Coady was class, Boly solid Saiss too bar one abhorrent tackle that allowed him to get booked. He didn't need to do that. Onwards to Saturday. 1230.

For all the talk of Saïss lacking discipline, he only has one red card this season, the same number as one Willy Boly.

Could have been any of the back 3 MotM or Moutinho. I’d give it to Coady he was excellent throughout.

Saiss has been much improved this season with his discipline, he is gunna pick up the occasional yellow

I think he has been fully aware of most of his yellows. Notice he doesn't pick up an second yellows, but also continues to defend ably.

He is superb, IMO.

Apart from when Adama sat him on his ass at the end of the first half and made him look like a mug...

It's improved in the second half of the season.

He only needs one more for a two game ban.
