Wolves 2-1 Brighton: Verdict Thread

I get that, so mix it up. Don't just keep going short over and over and over again. Was painful!
It would have been painful either way yesterday.
Maybe the instruction was "As soon a Hoever puts in one decent cross, you can move onto corner style B"

If it’s poor execution that is preventing something from working surely you persevere with it don’t you?

First season up, away at Arsenal, and MGW almost scores a last minute winner. I don't think any of us thought it would take another two and a half years for him to score his first PL goal for us. So pleased for him - just keep working lad and don't let it go to your head!

RAN seems more confident - and actually passes the ball forward. Fabio also gaining confidence and showing good decision making. Kilman and Hoever both did their job and you cannot bin a teenage defender for not getting his crosses right.

At the time of the sending off I thought it was a "good" red for Brighton. We hadn't looked like scoring; so 1-0 and ten men for 30 minutes, or 1-1 and momentum shifted to us. It seemed Dunk had made the right decision - until he hadn't. As it was the introduction of Adama opened up the spaces in their defence and we actually got 6-7 players into their box.

All in all a good win (aren't they all?) with lots of positives and it's a good thing that not all teams can bully us in the air like Burnley and Brighton did.

Have only now watched the first half back. We definitely weren't as atrocious as twitter and here led me to believe. Unsettled yes, midfielders positioning caused us some problems I think, but even in that spell after the goal we were still far more interesting to watch.

I'd be interested in how many progressive passes we've played in the last 2 matches compared to our average over the season as part of the shift in style/formation/personnel as you'd think this is how we'll start next season.
