Great result. Not much to write home about in the first half, but once we nabbed an equaliser we were the only team who looked like we could go on and win. Terrific performance from that point and the kids gave a terrific cameo performance late on. Otasawie, Vitinha and Neto on the break a couple of times, and Vitinha made it count collecting a nice pass out of defence from Saiss, good look and pass to Neto and well, that's what he does. Runs and runs and if he's got half a yard he'll have a pop.

Semedo struggled at times but he had a tough task. Boly was back to playing well and Coady didn't put a foot wrong that I recall. Same as Saiss.

a lot to say about the match but I'm just so pumped to get the W

lampard gets a hi5 for moving pulisic to the right and negating him the entire 2nd half

Just the tonic after the weekend.

I feared the worst after the Chelsea goal, but what a performance they all gave after that.

Wonderful win. Fortunate in some aspects but we really grew in the last half an hour and took control.

Podence and Neto with the goals again is a real positive, contributed at key moments.

Was that Raul who Neto celebrated with?

The lad Otasawie gets around well for a big lad.

On Semedo, he was always going to have a tough match against that much talent.

Think Rui got some stick on match thread - unfair for me - at that range, it hits you or it doesn’t. Boly’s languid attempt was the issue - not convinced by him at the moment, and his threat at corners has disappeared. Semedo could do with using his left foot when the winger cuts inside, as he fouls using his right.

Other than that, though, one clever and one clinical finish were sublime. Second half was a joy to see - toe-to-toe with an expensive team.

I like Saiss a lot - his passes out under pressure invariably go to a gold shirt.

Well done to Otosawie for putting himself about, and Vitinha for picking out Pedro.

Traore was pretty pants.

Well played guys, you could have folded after their opener but didn't. Thought they were allowed to overrun the left side against Semedo far to easily which is where all the danger seemed to originate.
Great to see Neto running at defenders, unlucky about the penalty as he must have felt the challenge due in. Took his goal well though.

3 at the back and Otasowie. Good work Nuno.

Was I the only one who thought Otasawie looked out of his depth?

Errr. Yes.

Poor pass right at the end during a counter just before the goal, but put himself about really well and did OK with the ball in general.

Think he had the assist for Podence too.

That’s a fantastic win. I thought it was men against boys in the first half and Chelsea were unlucky with two big headers, but we were excellent second half.

ruben Neves man of the match for me, excellent defensively and really good forward passing.

Neto was average for the first hour, and superhuman for the last half hour and a brilliant goal.

I didn’t think Rui had much chance for the goal - it was hit hard from the other side of the defender from six yards, not a lot he can do there, it’s milliseconds to react.

otaswie did well for a youngster - has a really weird running style like he’s just jogging about. A couple of passes were bobbly and hard to control, but he can be pleased with himself overall.

oh, and I thought Semedo played well too, really hard with three players on his side in the first half, but he was excellent second half.

Went back to what we know - winning goal had 2 Wolves players in their half with 4 defenders. Good win of the ball and pass (Vitanha?) and we are away.

Had to be finished and was - more intensity from us in the second half & Podence was instrumental in that.

Not sure that Otasowie was out of his depth, but didn't significantly affect the game which is not surprising.

Thought he did really well under the circumstances, hope there's plenty more to come from him.

Well.....yes, I thought he wad excellent, wasn't phased against a good Chelsea side, very strong in the challenge, decent in the air (was it him winning the header down to Podence for his goal?), decent on the ball and made some intelligent passes.....whats not to like?
