Wolves 2-1 Everton: Verdict Thread

Can we all just agree it’s nice to have options :)

As impressive as the front 3 were on Monday, it’s a rather small sample size. If they continue in that vein over the next few games (I’d they get a run) then it will be hard to argue.

We’ve looked great and equally poor with Adama in the side, as we have we trincao, traore, hwang etc.

Currently, the onus is on trincao and hwang to keep performing. If not, then Adama and Podence will get there chance.

I can’t remember us looking as fluid as against Everton for a long time, I however wouldn’t say it’s nailed on that means we are infinitely better without adama

On the Adama discussion from Bruno’s presser;

Lage: "I don't care if they understand or not, it's my way to work. If you have a mistake or bad performance, another guy is working for his chance."

Lage on Traore: "Adama didn't play the last game but he's very important for me. I want a strong team, competition.

Neat

Logical and fair assessment really, isn’t it?

I like Traore, he is genuinely exciting and someone I love to see in a Wolves shirt when hes running at defenders and beating them. The bigger question I guess is whether I think hes a perfect fit for the our or indeed any team, this I am less sure about. For all his excitement there is almost equal frustration that we all recognise

I think he offers something no other player we have has got, but if you boil it down it isn't really effective. I missed the first half at Everton, but what I did see was 3 forwards linking up well and working together. I just don't see that when Traore is on the pitch.

I can't get wound up about the Adams trincoa debate because if Neto comes back in Jan at75% of his previous form it's a useless debate. For me I am not sure which injuryvdid us most harm, Neto or Raul, but obviously both, firing on all cylinders makes me moist, ha ha

Think the reject Adama philosophy has worked out and a joy to see Mout and Ruben doing so well.
Absolutely chuffed that Max got a goal (rate him highly).
