Wolves 2-1 Leicester: Verdict Thread

Those are the games you need to win. Said in the matchday thread that I don’t care how we do it, but we just need to grind out a win and two bits of class did that for us.

The defence was unusually uneasy today & we seemed to give them a lot of space, shame for Kilman in particular with Steve Holland in the stands, but thankfully we dug in.

Hwang & Neto coming off the bench makes such a difference compared to a month or two ago when we had a under 23 keeper making up the numbers. Amazing to see Neto back (although if he’d squared to Raul at the end we’d have won 3-1).

Raul was below par today and we need him firing on all cylinders for the next two - but absolutely delighted with that three points. Essential with Spurs, Utd & Arsenal all winning.

Two massive games coming up…

We were poor all over the park today, but poulson stunk the place out. Thought I was watching a kung fu Olympic final

Goodness me, Leicester must be bad to have lost to us today. Probably the most important win so far this season, in context. What a way to get it, though. Still, all sides have a bad day from time to time, and it's good to have come out of that one with a win. So good to see Neto back on the pitch. Perhaps he can spark Raul back into life.

Deciding to just be a new me.

Can't see us losing for the rest of the season, top 4 fans going to be livid when they've spent millions on attacking talent, only to all lose out to a side who are only going to end up with 33 goals.

What a team!

Not sure how we keep doing it but we won’t go away, will we?

Neto looking as sharp as he did is a big bonus. Though even that ten minutes on the pitch seemed to tire him out, so still some work to go before he’s starting I reckon. My stream cut out as he raced away in the last minute so need to see what he did to mess it up!

thought Sa was excellent. Coady too.

Ait-Nouri and Jimenez both with assists today, and they're our joint top assisters with 4 each.

Neves now only one yellow card away from an automatic two match ban :( He has "up to and including the team's 32nd fixture" to avoid it, which is another 8 games, so unlikely.

thought Sa was excellent.
Thought the quick kick out to set Pod on his way was masterful, although a couple of short passes out to Kilman and Saiss when they had Leicester player only a few metres away from them were odd decisions and invited unnecessary pressure
