Talk tactics, formations whatever but against possibly the most technically inept team in the league ( No disrespect to WBA ) they completely bottled it. Can allow change, rethink and endeavour this season and by and large the performances thus far this season have been fairly solid . As a unit yesterday we lacked cohesion, purpose and what I thought was a ' will to win '. Need to defend set pieces, pass the ball quickly and get in on goal. Time to put the brakes on new ideas and dig in. Right players at the right time.

I'd like to see Otasowie get a run in the midfield spot as I think he could be good in a box to box role.

So do I but I tend to think that can only be afforded if Jonny and Marcal are wing backs. They appear to be the only two capable. Semedo has fallen very short and Nouri is exceptionally raw.

I think a CB and a CF (Raul can play wide in a front 3 too) are a must.

Can't see Donk at the back and Semedo and RAN at wing backs are marginally hopeless when it comes to stopping crosses into our box. Semedo has been demoted and RAN has come from a shit league that gave us the likes of Dombia, Sako and the other sick note that was crap when he played.

We can only look at the squad we have available. I think Boly is better on the left and Saiss can’t play on the right . Kilman is a left footer too so I went with Donk. I think both he and Boly give the wing backs some protection. Otasowie has the legs to run box to box and allow Neves the space to be creative. He has the talent to start moves. If we don’t get new blood in it’s as good as we can do til Jonny comes back.

I've been saying Traore more central for a while. He'd be perfect there. Waste of time him on the wing putting in crosses to either the keeper or the Waterloo Road.

He's played there on a number of occasions it doesn't work, except for a tactic against tired legs in the last 20 mins. He doesn't have the natural movement off the ball - too static

I've seen him bomb past 3 players centrally lots of times. He looks great there. On the wing right now it's a waste (apart from against Brighton when he won the penalty) of time. Fabio or Donk are the only ones in the box. The pair of them cannot head a ball for shit.

Maybe in the middle of the park but when he gets closer to goal and it is congested he has nowhere to go and there’s precious little evidence he can draw players and slip a pass to play a team mate in.

That’s why I go 3412 with Neto central as a 10 with two options near him. Traore to bomb forward and Cutrone to poach

He draws 3 players every match! Agreed if his brain was a little more switched he'd pass and go, but the guy is the most marked player we have.
