Wolves 2-3 West Ham: Verdict Thread

He uses the ball no worse than any of the other options in his position. No slower than Coady, or Neves for that matter.

He's never going to be anything special but if he's content to sit on the bench for most of the season he's perfectly adequate as cover.

I've got no doubt mate but if these defenders kept you up then the likes of Shackell, Johnson, Halford, Luzhny, Gorkss, Hill must have given you insomnia

Yes, i was prescribed sleeping tablets. Oh for the likes of Frankie Munro and Joeleon Lescott.

Don't start the Matt Hill PPG trope :D

He was truly dreadful. Could barely kick the ball.

Matt hills FL debut was also the game David Connelly bagged 4

Interesting that Spiers says we planned to go 343 before the Boly and Jonny situations. From that I guess you can infer Nuno didn't trust either a 3 of Saiss Coady Kilman or a midfield 2 of Neves + anyone other than Donck

And that may also explain why we looked so ill prepared too.
Without a doubt. The fact Podence only played 45 also suggests it probably wasn't his immediate plan considering his injury issues too.

Podence wouldn't have played, he doesn't trust Kilman any more (if he ever did). That's the long and the short of it.

Bit worrying that he trust a back 2 of Saiss & Coady more than a back 3 of Saiss, Coady & Kilman/Donk/Hoever.

I wouldn't really trust Kilman in a League One team, he's not very good.

Could be the other way. He doesn't trust a midfield 2 which doesn't include Neves, Moutinho or Donck

Guess so, thats rather depressing as I think neither Moutinho or Donk will / should be there longer term

I still don't think it would have been defensively worse than what we saw.

Swap Podence for Kilman and we'd have been way more solid.

This just doesn't compute for me.

I could see us planning to go 4231 WITH Jonny and Boly playing and then revert to 3 ATB after knowing about the injuries. The other way round just doesn't make sense to me
