Great performance. Off you go lads.

Everton were the very definition of a team on the beach but you still have to go win it.

Neves MOTM by a mile.

Podence was very positive and bright, should be in strong contention to start again.

Podence joins Neto as a definite top addition to the squad, really offers something different. Should have been 4-0! Great attitude and credit to Nuno and the team for this after the past two tough games against in form sides. It's gonna go to the wire!

Didn't expect such a comfortable win and performance.

The lads did good and we maintain our table position.

Shout out to Podence. Very good performance. The Portuguese comments were saying he should have gotten MOTM.

Excellent performance and result, just what we needed.

First half we were in control but not really incisive. Podence’s work for the penalty was outstanding, and he was bright throughout - just needs to be on the same wavelength as the rest of the team and we have a real player there.

Second half we were in complete control, an excellent and professional performance. Ruben Neves was absolutely outstanding. The pass for Diogos goal was world class. Excellent control and finish too.

Hope Neto is ok, looked really bad the way he was thumping the floor, but he walked off okay so hopefully just a tweak and he was upset because he was playing well and wanted to stay on.

Podence MOTM. We were fantastic. Everton weren't. So happy with that. Back in the game.

The changes up front freshened us up beautifully. Podence is a quality player and suddenly it looks like we now have an embarrassment of riches up there now Jota's broken his duck (what a goal THAT was).

Thought we'd miss Moutinho but Donck and Neves were both wonderful. Might we see just the one change for the Burnley game, with Jota coming in for Neto?

Good to get back to winning ways against a really poor Everton side. 2nd goal so early really made it easy from then on. Neves was outstanding, one of his best performances of the season. Podence also very good. Need similar against Burnley and Palace to make the Chelsea game meaningful.

We were on it from the start Podence offering is something a bit different, Neves and Donck controlled the midfield with consummate ease, great finish by Jota and a superb delivery by Neto for the 2nd.
As good as we were Everton were a disgrace, and seriously Pickford belongs nowhere the England side.

That was a consummate performance now hoping for the polar opposite from Villa :)

Sky gave Podence MotM

Great performance, so many good things in that game. Boly, Neves, Donck, Podence, Neto all outstanding. My only two gripes are that a) it could have been eight and b) we should be in the Hogs now reveling in that. So glad Jota finally got a goal (and what a belter it was) and just wish Podence could have got one.

Brilliant stuff. And Villa go one down as I type, what a Sunday.

Absolutely great stat tweeted by Paddy Power:

Wolves first goal was scored on 46.57 and their second goal on 45.45

Well played Podence and Neto, who both came in and played well.

That pass from Neves to Jota was a wonder to behold and Diogoal controlled it really well and put it away brilliantly.

Doherty was awful. Kept giving the ball away and slow to get back into position. Needs replacing.

Thought Podence was fantastic MOTM.

Great to see such movement and pace in the performance.
3 from 5th, 4 from 4th, 5 from 3rd.
Leicester and Chelsea are struggling form wise, Utd look home and hosed for top 4.
We could still nick top 5, oh how i want Utd to lose

Take a bow, Ruben Neves. That is exactly the performance I wanted from him after the last match. He was everywhere.

Exactly the tonic we needed after the last few games.

Podence gave a brilliant performance- surely him, Jiménez and Jota starting up top next time out?

So much better when we don’t rely almost exclusively on the “Give it to Traore and hope” tactic.

So are we now at the Neves or Moutinho stage, when we play two in the middle?
