Wolves Academy Thread

Fair to say the young lads got proper thumped tonight

U21s beat Blackburn 1-0 thanks to Lembikisia.
The stats suggest we dominated the game but wayward in front of goal.

2-0 up. Griffiths and Marques. Considering that first game winning the next two would be a good start to their season.

Cundle, Ronan and Campbell not in our u21 squad for today's game Vs Crystal Palace at 1pm

1-1. Poor defending down our right

looks like a reasonable standard for an u21 game from what i can see

Fraser sent off for off the ball incident

1-1 is about a fair result so far. Both teams look tired already though

Fraser sent off for an off the ball incident, youngwolf - any idea what happened?

Great strike, could be a lad that's in no mans land this year, too good for the U21s but not gone out because we need him in an emergency. For the all the stick Bruno takes one thing I do like is he lets the younger lads around the squad play. Nuno had Otasowie and Bright not playing any football for weeks on end

Game time is obviously important at nearly all first team levels, but I think sometimes we over look that many of them will benefit from training at such a high level compared to previous. I presume Campbell trains with the first team squad now almost exclusively?

I reckon some proper league football would do him the world of good. He's got the ability, I just wonder sometimes if he's got the application / dedication to make the absolute most of his ability.
