Lets see if this thread can be incident free & not locked off at some point please.

Don't expect any changes from us (unless Jota or Boly are back which I suspect they aren't).

Reading RAWK most on there expect a win, though don't seem to like us fans much? (we are very pleasant people really :icon_biggrin:). Were fairly complimentary about the team though & expect that this will be the hardest away game they have left.

Ok lets start this off right, Parkin I find you to be an exemplary poster who's posts I cherish on a daily basis but I wholeheartedly defend your right to hold a contrary opinion, if you so choose :)

Anyway, I would love it if we were the team to finally beat them, although, to be fair, I would be happy with taking a point !

We thought we'd give them a real test at home last season but they ran out pretty comfortable 2-0 winners.

Going ahead would for a change would be massive.

RAWK are complimentary about our team although not fans of our away support. Each to their own. To see them referring to City (a), Arsenal (a), and Wolves (a) as the only realistic obstacles to the unbeaten season is a statement of just how far we have come.

Lawro has predicted a draw!! Charlie Nicholas has predicted a 2-1 win for Wolves. Holy cow.

Referee Michael Oliver.

I think we annoyed them last season when we made up a Brighton goal and gave them a bit of hope of winning the league

Paul, I usually find your posts entertaining and even when I don't I defend your right post them and appreciate the effort you made.

I look forward to reading your opinions on this thread and others.

Increase the peace.

Pablo.

I think getting into Europe is second only to Charlie Nicholas's conversion !

Pablo the amount of tissue I have got through thinking about you is shocking ,.

I dunno, we had Adama playing up front when he was absolutely rubbish. Couldn't say I was confident.

Wouldn't say they had too many difficulties in keeping us at bay but equally they didn't create much either. Didn't score the second until 20 minutes or so from the end and don't recall Rui being overworked.

Lawro said Draw
Tge BBC pundit he is challenging this week has a 2-1 to us
Nicholas has a 2-1 win to us.

I thought we would win this, not now
Fuck that means we will get dicked out of sight

This depends on us keeping it really tight at the back as we know that they are capable of opening any team up.

Do that for long enough & we have a chance - we have enough pace & skill up front to undo anyone.

Not saying that is what will happen, but it is possible - the ground will be full (as it has been almost every game) & needs to be loud & the 12th man

I would think most of us are more optimistic now than we were at halftime on Saturday.

A result is certainly possible but it would help if we don't concede the first goal.

Expecting zero points. All I ask is we give them a game like we did at Anfield

As long as we play well, which I expect we will.

There's a chance the players might want to make a response to the fact we were robbed by VAR at anfield.

Last season I thought we played superbly v Liverpool. They were that little bit better though. I fancy we'll give a good account of ourselves.

Has Darlo given you your ST back for this match?

They hate our fans because of the funny lot still singing Sign On. Think it's died off from most other supporters now.

Anyway, TAA can be got at. Vinagre had him on toast at Anfield. Think we need to be very direct in our play down that side don't let him set and always look to take him on. It could hopefully nullify him being able to get forward if he's looking behind him at Neto/Traore. Martials big chance yesterday came after a one-two in between TAA and Gomez.

I have wondered if this has been Nuno's thinking with Traore starting the last two on the opposite flank.

No expectations but we can go at them with a sufficiently rested squad after not been afforded that in December. Let's have a go and see what we come out with at the end.

I presume they will be giving TAA the Man of the Match Trophy before kick off to save time

If it were a drinking game, every time he's mentioned, you'd be an alcoholic

Mcmanatwat will be windmilling his willy from the kick off and will only shut up when we beat them to hand them their first defeat.
