I do have some interests, although it is mainly books & music! I think I must just have a general dislike of all other sports apart from football.

Now, if we had a History thread...
    Disney
    Thomas the Tank Engine

I ran a "this day in history" thread for ages but no one (except Frank) seemed to give a shit about it so I stopped!

Your Britpop tastes are pretty deece. Sleater-Kinney though...

Could be worse, you could like Alien Ant Farm in 2019.

Sleater-Kinney are an acquired taste. I was well into Britpop though, I even bought a Northern Uproar single once...

Year 2000 me is fucking ecstatic!

Alien Ant Farm are still one of the most underrated bands of all time. It’s a shame that 99% of people only know them for their worst song - a Michael Jackson cover!

Just taken Oscar Dog out for a short walk. He was attacked by a cocker spaniel of all things, but even sans testicles Oscat takes no shit and whooped the offending dog's ass.

Unfortunately, the offending dog took the dent to his pride out on a cockerpoo puppy a few minutes later, leaving the poor bugger with 4 puncture marks on his back. Lucky that the cockerpoo's owner had a hard and accurate kick in him, delivered to the yob dogs nethers.

The owner of the offending dog walked off sharpish, but he delivered a business card for construction work through my door on Wednesday, which the other owner now has.

Getting old - I managed to hurt my shoulder celebrating Neves' goal last night. I'm pretty sure I'll fall apart completely, very soon.

    That's Irish based pilots only.

Case for UK pilots is in the High Court at the moment, eagerly awaiting the judgement.

Same here, I don't fly until Saturday morning but I'm assuming there'll be knock on disruption.

Water resistant bathroom ceiling paint. It’s like painting with fucking melted toffee. At least it doesn’t drip I suppose.

Well it appears their case has been thrown out but they expect to run their schedule as timetabled with minimal disruption.

The band Bastille have overtaken my intense dislike of Coldplay. The shit tunes are exacerbated by the drone of the voice. I can't listen to the Stereophonics for too long because of the drone of his voice but at least the tunes are good.

Managed an entire week in Italy with barely an insect bite, get to Waverley and I'm stung by a bloody wasp!
Fucking serious pain in my hand, heart seems a bit "racey" and I feel like shit. Great end to a brilliant week...

Couple of days away, two hour journey home and my dog pukes his ring up all over the folded down seats and a door panel about a mile from home.

Oh, and a St Bernard I took out for a midnight piss pulled me up some concrete steps when he saw a cat and I now have a lot less skin on my one foot, shin and knee.

At least you could have a nip of his brandy to ease the pain.

He's a lovely dog but if he wanted to sit on you, there's not a lot you could do. He slipped his lead and chased half a dozen sheep! The farmer came out and said he'd shoot the dog if he hurt a sheep.
