Cardinals did well out of the Rosen trade. Got their QB in the draft and a WR and an extra pick for a QB who didn't have a very good season. Rare that a trade benefits both parties so much.

Fucking Tottenham, what a shit show they've put on with the initial ticket sales!

Gerry was on first thing but after two and a half hours waiting all the first run of tickets have gone, sold out. I can, however, go onto Ticketmaster, StubHub, Viagog etc and pay at least double the ticket face value to get one!

Even Twickenham managed to sort sales so that the existing NFL season ticket holders got the first run of sales

Same here Mike. On early and queued for two hours before I got on, then it was sold out. Absolute shambles. NFL UK basically lied to us about Wembley STHs getting priority for Spurs tickets, and then put the most popular game on at Spurs which is 30,000 smaller than Wembley.

I sent a really ranty email to Spurs ticket customer services, had a reply with a link to NFL UK so sent them the same rant!

Got mine for Bears v Raiders too Mike.

Sideline upper tier, row 27. Well pleased with those. Only 10 extra per ticket more than I wanted to pay too. Thought we'd be stuck with the dregs and 100+ tickets.

    See you there!

I didn't get any choice, just told "here, take these in the lower end zone!"

I fucking hate the way Spurs have run the sales for this, not a patch on Wembley or Twickenham and they hiked the prices too compared to Wembley

I got offered those first up, though you could choose to search for more if you didn't want them.

Spurs haven't run this really though. It's TicketMaster that are the arseholes. I'm amazed they changed the queueing system for today, and that it actually worked.

Look like I will be missing this year as I was on my honeymoon when the single game tickets went on sale and they all sold out quickly. Only way i'll be able to go is if I get lucky and get a couple when the team returns get sent back.

NFLUK have now set up an official ticket exchange on TicketMaster for people to re-sell tickets at face value. Worth checking on there periodically.

He can only be on the practice squad for this year whatever happens. His big shot will be next year when the Bills aren't gonna have Frank Gore and Lesean McCoy.

Why? Most teams keep at least 3 and often 4 RBs on their roster and with that kind of exposure who's to say he'd get through waivers.

He's not eligible to make the 53 man roster this year and can't be claimed off the practice squad by any other team. He's at the Bills for this year but only as an additional player to their practice squad. They can then elevate him to the 53 man roster if they wish next year.

    Here's the explanation:

Thanks for that. He's already old for a RB, although I appreciate that's because of the workload he's not experienced, shame he doesn't have a shot this year if he were to prove good enough

Just had notifications of my DraftKings leagues renewing, ready for the new season on Thursday Sep 6th.

Thought I'd guage interest in plenty of time.

Are all the below still in?

This is what I was on about for next season as a head to head
Maybe Paddy and/or Deutsch want to join in this season? Anyone else is welcome too if they fancy a go. It's all just a bit of fun, so no pressure to play.

I'm in. All those that are into their NFL like Pompey and Dire should get involved. It's 5 minutes of your time, doesn't cost you money, you can change your team every week and is a bit of fun. Keep the same format though Bear

    Cool. Welcome.

You'll need a DraftKings account and add you on there as a friend so I can invite you to the league.

I would like to but I will pass this season. Looked at the work order book for the autumn and we look like being crazy busy so taking on something else I have to remember is probably unwise.

No problem Pad. If you fancy joining in at any point I can always add you in, just to get a feel for the game.
