Bennett looked pretty decent playing wide right for Nowrich to be fair.

Just been sent this by a mate:

di Canio losing the plot already, apparently he had a bust-up with Leon Clarke at full-time, and it ended with Clarke refusing to go back to the dressing room. 20-25 minutes after the game ended, he's still out on the pitch, someone else brought his clothes out to him
    Oh Leon, you fat prick.

That's brilliant. I love Leon Clarke. If he didn't exist, someone would have to make him up.

I can't believe that Di Canio would have a go at such a dedicated professional.

Also, he may have played for Lazio and AC Milan, but does he know who he's talking to? LEON CLARKE. That's who.

SSN had pictures of Di canio clobbering someone in the tunnel. Bizarre.

What the fuck was he doing on the pitch for that length of time? Sitting in the penalty area Gallas-style? Swinging from the crossbar? (watch it doesn't break).

He never struck me as the sharpest knife in the drawer. The time he made a run through on goal without looking to check where the through ball was sums him up to me. It ended up smacking him on the back of the bonce and straight to the opposition. Gotta love him.

I still fondly remember him coming on as a Wednesday substitute against us at hillsborough. Booed by all four sides of the ground.

Back in the day, our Leon was the subject of many a debate on Molineux Mix. "He's just big boned" being a retort oft used by his fans. Luckily he just turned out to be fat and shit.

Back in the day Leon showed a bit of effort which made up for his lack of ability. One of the goals he got v Reading was down to him forcing the defence into making an error. It was that sort of effort that got his name, briefly, chanted out of the South Bank (not guilty, I was a Steve Bull STH then). That went to his head and he thought he could turn up each game and stroll around and his mad skillz would ensure he was the hero forever more. Went well did that.

When Mick came in, he mentioned that he had seen Leon score a fair few at reserve team level, so he was looking forward to working with him. Didn't last long did it.

For a similar player - See Craig Davies, except he carried on giving it everything. So I don't mind him

Stop being nice to the fat bastard.

I remember the game after his "shush" incident (silly boy). You'd think he'd have given it everything after what he'd done, get everyone back onside, we all make mistakes. We played Luton and he sweated less than I did in the BWU on what was a chilly January Friday evening. Arrogant fucker who epitomises everything wrong with modern day footballers. He is crap, but he could make a decent living if he tried a bit. But no, be massively overweight and never try.

I know he was shit, but with my brother being a season ticket holder at Gillingham, that late equaliser he scored against them after knocking it into his path with a "sly" handball, has forever earned him a small amount of affection from me........ it made that 3 hour car journey home a little easier than it otherwise would have been !

The amount of times I've wanted to twat Leon Clarke - fair play to PDC.

I hope he releases the fat prick and he ends up playing for Rushall Olympic.

Didn't he break his toe for Sheff Wed by kicking the advertising board after he'd scored?

They have added subtitles to the Leon Clarke stuff from last night and it appears it all started because the fitness coach told him he would have to do some running of some sort today in training. Priceless.

Argument started because the fitness coach told Clarke he had to come today and do some running. Leon went nuts at this suggestion!!

Poor Leon, having to do fitness work. Bless him
