Tonight I'm sipping Wilhelm Scream, a DDH IPA, 6.5% by Pomona Island.

Really fruity and the hops really sparkle.

I don't think I'd come out of there alive.

Got home from work yesterday to a delivery of 16 beers from Beerwulf courtesy of a late birthday present from my brother. With that and my membership pack, it was a good post day!

Your comment would be accurate even if he paid the advertised £5.50

    Brewdog - Quench quake.

It's essentially a fizzy orange drink.

This month's Beer52 theme is "Raise the Bar" (no, me neither):

Dig Brew Co - The Last Optimo (citra pale)
Vault City Brewing - Dry Hopped Farmhouse Ale
    Mothership - Brut Pale Ale
    Beer52 - 4 Way IPA
Turning Point Brew Co - Wavelength Mosaic
Mothership - Hypergalactic West Coast IPA
Vault City Brewing - Yuzu NEIPA
Dig Brew Co - Hell (helles lager)

Might not be amazing but I'm happy enough getting these every couple of months.

Had a fair bash at the Magic Rock tap takeover in the Hogs after the game plus a cracking Blueberry and Coffee sour (can't remember who by), quality stuff. Tried Ian's BBNo/Hobsons BIPA as well which was really good.

Was meant to go to that last night but my mates cried off. Would have been all over that BIPA - got a real craving for them at the moment and there's hardly any around.

Yeah I was impressed by the beer in the Hogs. But try as I might, I just can't cope with the flavour of sours!

Where were you standing in the Hogs? Saw you at the bar but then nothing.
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to Hélder Costa

We were right by the door on the left. A couple of us did venture outside but it was fucking packed so we just went back to where we were and watched the match. Saw you and Paddy leave walking past the window by where we were sitting.

If I’d known I wouldn’t have got you to try it!

Anyone tried this year's BrewDog prototypes? Wondering if it's worth the bother.

Can't remember the last time I ordered anything off Brewdog. The only interest I have left in them is the shares.

My local Morrisons has an excellent selection on right now in their 4 for £6.

    Siren - Calypso Sour
    Northern Monk - Rapscallion IPA
Six degrees North - Hopocrisy Pale Ale
Wild Beer - Pogo Pale Ale

Siren, Wild Beer and Nortgern Monk had lots of selections along with a few other breweries I'd not heard of but will try.

Some 440ml stuff for £3 too that looked excellent.

Wildebeest is in Morrisons for 2.50. Ridiculous value for an 11% impy stout.
