    From MolMix

    Hi All,

    The meeting started with a welcome to new members of the Fans Parliament by Matt Grayson who then handed over to FP member Tom Bate to give his thoughts on the last two years attendance of meetings.

    The financial report is now covered on the official website and can be found here;

    http://www.wolves.co.uk/news/article...on-528562.aspx

    JM responded to the recent reports that WWFC had not paid tax last year by saying the reports were ‘rubbish’. He explained under current legislation any taxable profits are offset by the previous year’s losses and therefore no tax was payable in this instance.

    The building of the New North Bank, although increasing brick and mortar assets, made no real commercial sense other than to give the fans a better match day experience – Steve Morgan wanted a stand that was state of the art, nearer the pitch and better for fans.

    Paul Richards (Club Liaison Officer) spoke of the newly formed Wolves Disabled Supporters Association and how impressed everybody has been with the way the members have taken ownership of this and the value this has.

    Football Matters;

    JM; It is WWFC absolute priority to ensure Premiership status ASAP. The facilities at Molineux and the Training Ground are signs of intent i.e. Investment in Sports Science Facilities, Psychologists.

    The aim is to get back to the Premiership without bankrupting the club. WWFC are much respected in the football world due to their honesty, seriousness and trustworthiness.

    Apparent lack of fitness was raised. JM said that all the sports science/GPS data disputes this. He was honest enough to say that he felt it was a case of players trying to adapt to a playing style that the club believe will be beneficial in the long run.

    Promotion this season is a priority – He does not believe in consolidation in the Championship.

    JM said that Stale will be allowed to bring in his own staff but it was felt that this was to be done slowly so as not to completely destabilise the club.

    Interpreters are employed by the club to help foreign players.

    The board are very pleased with Solbakken although JM did make comment that the league table looks ‘horrible’ at the moment. Believed Stale needs a bit of luck particularly with injuries.

    Press speculation cannot be controlled easily but the board are behind their manager.

    The club will not ban the players using social media.

    Funds to be made available to Stale in January.

    Players likely to go as well as stay.

    Director of Football is still on the agenda although the club will not be drawn on how quickly this will be but it is their intention to employ someone. It was felt SS should have been in his role for a little while before introducing a D of F.

    SS very much at the forefront of player recruitment and is also very keen to bring players through the youth system – one of his particular strengths at Copenhagen.

    Tickets;

    850 tickets for home games are available for purchase from ticket office ON THE DAY of the match. Lynne O’Reardon stated that the queues are generally short now at the new ticket office.

    Although special offers are made to encourage higher attendances it was stated that the only way to guarantee a fuller ground was to win matches and that is the focus of the club.

    The Museum has been a real success and there have been many very impressed visitors. The price was discussed and it was felt that £7 entrance fee was ‘worth every penny’ by those who had already been. It is important to note that it is unlikely to make any money.

    My Wolves have now given £500,000 to local charities since it was set up five years ago. All felt this was a great achievement.

    Yep.

    If we'd have known we would have organised a replacement but unfortunately it was very last minute.

    It wasn't even last minute. I simply forgot all about until 10pm on the day. The side effects to working 7 days a week from and getting a few hours kip a day.

    Whilst I will apologise for letting the forum down, I won't say sorry for putting my business first. I knew I would be busy at this time of year but I didn't expect it to be this busy. Even in my most optimistic forecasts I did not expect to see what has happened. The last 10 days have been insane, to the point that I missed a concert I was desperate to go to and a Parliament meeting.

    Like I said in my message I got to Langers (god bless Facebook app & a toilet break!), I hate letting folk down so will more than happy to stand aside and let Paddy take the reigns if thats what people want.

    I will happily do it if the forum want me to. I don't believe the next meeting is until March so I reckon I will be more than available. However, I would be equally happy to see Kenny continue - the spring is surely not going to be as busy as the last few weeks have been for him, and at the end of the day, he was first choice.

    I will go with whatever people feel is right.

    100% behind your decision. What about we legislate for this to stop it happening again. You and Paddington were close in the vote so why dont you do it between you- if one cant go the other can and in the uinlikely event that neither of you make it send Langers. That would take some pressure off you and ensure we get a voice. Views???

    absolutely - all three of you would make good representatives, and I think its important one of you goes - I'm sure you can sort it out between the three of you as to who is most available for each meeting.

    One thing I defiantly want asking at the FANS PARLIAMENT is why was someone like Sean O'Driscoll was not even interviewed or on the radar when Stale was sacked? I'm not saying he was the answer, but he should have been interviewed at least IMO, how or why was Saunders in front of someone like that?

    Why did we sack a manager at the start of a transfer window, only to let the new guy bring nobody in?

    Will they sack Dean Saunders after his crap start and shocking poor decision making so far? What's happened to Peszko?

    Why did it take SOOOOOOO long after Van Damme left, for us to get another left back? One of the worst player situations I've seen here in recent years.

    On the basis that Sean O'Driscoll's daughter broke the news that Saunders was going to be the new manager, I'd assume he'd been interviewed or spoke to.

    Ha, would still like to know the reasons for him not getting the job and giving it to Saunders, hardly had a record like Jose or Sir Alex did he?

    It's still strange to me, without being present at any interviewing, to go with Dean over Sean with what both had done as a manager at this level. Something just seemed right about Sean on a short term until the end of the season, Wolves man and all that too.

    He was probably the answer, especially as we wouldn't have had to pay compensation as he was out of work.

    Its all about the manager questions for me - Why appoint Stale for a long term project and sack him with the team midway between playoffs and relegation? What was it about Saunders that made them appoint him? At what point do they admit he's a buffoon and bring in an actual football manager?

    The manager is THE key position of a football club, and one they should be getting right.

    Actually, I wouldn't mind an actual description of how the club is run now, with what Morgan gets involved in, and what Jez and Thelwell's are responsible for, whether there is a plan for the future with regards to playing styles, and who is responsible for the last couple of managerial appointments.

    I realise you guys won't be able to just demand answers to everything, but thats my input of what I personally would be most interested in.

    Thanks!

    Whatever happened to our intent to implement a 'continental style of football' here at Wolves'?

    Was Stale sacked because of poor results or were there other reasons? (Wrong system of play for the Championship / poor man management skills)

    Why have we not reinforced the squad further since DS' arrival?

    Seeing that DS' poor record at this level has continued since he came here, what exactly was on his CV that made the board think he was the right choice?

    Does the board accept that relegation is utterly unacceptable and must be avoided at all costs?

    Are we, financially speaking, in the shit if we go down? And what sort of contingency plans have been made should this happen?

    Who is to blame for us being in the bottom three today?

    Finally, and most importantly, why are the pies so fucking hot?

    Don't know but a good time to bump this thread. I haven't had the email with the formal parliament meeting date yet but am presuming it will be 24th April at Compton so we might as well get the questions you want me to try and ask lined up.
