I got dumped after a 4 year relationship back in 2010 and I remember lying in bed one night and I felt so heartbroken I could literally feel a pain in my chest.

Around that time i signed up to TWF.... it certainly helped take my mind off things at the time!

Found out an old friend passed away today, 33 years old and hit by a van. One of the genuinely nicest people who you could wish to meet. RIP Ant.

It's well known in certain circles that my dog is a tough mofo. After his X-Rays today, turns out that 5-6 weeks ago (best guess) my dog badly fractured his elbow. It's well on the way to being healed, but the only thing we've noticed in him is a persistent limp.

Still, he's scored himself a boat load of Tramadol so it's not all bad.

A family friend passed away this morning following a battle with cancer, one which returned following a successful battle with breast cancer a few years before.
She leaves a husband and two young boys who are best friends with my own. She was only 40 years old.
She was arguably my partner's best friend and I can't console her until I knock off from work in six hours' time.

Thinking of you, PPB - and I've had a message on FB from Frank who has asked me to pass on his best wishes too.

Just been to the local cemetery to wish my Grampi a happy 100th birthday. Anyway, there was a woman crying over a kids grave whilst holding a "Happy 1st Birthday" balloon. There must have been someone chopping onions in my car on the way home.

The fact that you actually think about how you do as a Dad puts you up on a lot of Dads.

I can't really focus on Christmas. Not when you have a next app on the 27th. It's the waiting that drives me mad and sad.

Fingers crossed Glasgow, one of my wife's best friends is BA crew and he'd flown with 3 of the people involved and is a bit cut up about it.
"FFS Costa" with or without an apostrophe?

The scottish Sun have just named Lauren, despite saying they would not out of respect for the family.

My Step Daughter and Wife were at Lauren's Bedside last night, it will be a long hard road ahead. The worst is they cannot ascertain the complete damage yet due to Swelling.
