Forecast is about the only thing in our favour here.

Not sure about Leeds next week. Hope you get some sunshine.

Thanks. Whilst there's Stokes and Woakes we still have a chance.

Well done Joe, got his head down and showed better offside judgement. Better players than him will nick off to that snorter. Awesome work at short leg. Roy and Buttler out wafting or poking when you can leave it.
Remember, remember we are doing OK this November .

Hmm this sounds an enjoyable watch glad I’m working and not witnessing the tripe fest of batting.

This is another poor two-paced pitch for a Test match, IMO.

Some balls are keeping low while the occasional ball takes off like a rocket. This will only get worse as the match goes on.

The Umpires need to have a word with Cummins who is doing his best to bounce out the batsmen by bowling short at them, and has now hit them quite a few times. Woakes being the latest.

Plan worked, but it's not good cricket. Intimidating the No8 like that every ball is thuggery.

    Archer will be next.

This is like leg theory. Umpires should be stepping in if it continues.

I'm sure Archer is noting this and looking forward to a bit of revenge.

Not a whole lot of lateral movement this morning, either off the pitch or in the air. Disappointing considering the overcast conditions.
