Not really sure where to put this yet but:

Ticketing info: Due to a delay in receiving tickets from Blackpool FC, sales to Away Season Ticket Holders will now begin at 10am on Wednesday 20th August. Other sales dates will be unaffected

Price or Rowe on the bench?

Unsure where to post this, but, thought this the most appropriate thread.

Somebody has posted a documentary called ' Moment of Truth ' on you tube which follows 2 former apprentice players, Derek Ryan and Steve Blackwell. Filmed during the 1984/85 season with Docherty at the helm, worth a look and gives you an idea on the state of the club at this time.

Some great shots of the old North and South Bank as well.

Jonny Williams is a cracking footballer but we don't really have room for him now.

I wouldn't expect any less from a decent manager. Paul Ince and the like don't bother but KJ is just a better man.

Jezzer Peace at Albion nominated Jez for the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Jez and the rest of the board will be doing the challenge before the Blackburn game

Steve Morgan as well - I'm sure there'll be a nice orderly queue of volunteers to help them......

Copied from the BBC Sportsday page.

It is 20 years to the day since the death of Billy Wright, the first player to reach 100 England caps and one of our all-time greats.
Wright, who played for Wolves from 1941 until his retirement in 1959, captained England 90 times, a record he shares with Bobby Moore.
There's a nice tribute on the FA's website, which tells how Wright began as an inside-forward before becoming established as a hard-tackling and inspirational centre-half.
Wright went on to manage Arsenal for four years and later worked in the media. he died in 1994, aged 70.

20 years. I remember we played Sunderland away? The day that knob Lee Howey broke Geoff Thomas.

Edit: No. Different game. We did play Sunderland, 1-1, Venus scored - Thomas was the year before (2-0).
