The Sunday afternoon Blackburn matchday thread

Really disappointing bench which highlights our problems. Saville and Ricketts still can't get a look in either.

Let's hope we can do the business from the start.

Bizarre, I'd have had Ricketts on the bench ahead of EEL and Saville too (else why did we buy him!?)

i have to ask - anyone who manages to find a stream please PM me. I've noticed most weeks previously Blackburn were usually on stream.

I'd have had Ricketts instead of Doherty, and it must be Jacobs' turn in the two MFs.

Team I expected apart from Hause coming back in for Doherty (though am very pleased about that).

Bench is a bit weird - if Jacobs is out of favour (which he appeared to be) why is he on & off the bench so much. Not a great fan of Saville so far, but we paid 1m or so for him so we should either use or sell.

Jacobs is on the bench because he is the other available wide option, clearly. Saville must not be producing in training, his attitude in the warm up before the Fulham game was shite.

It's a complicated Chinese stir fry. Mrs Wolfie's no good at them, though she has done the starter and the pud, which we only ever have when they come!
    Ikeme's in Pink again....

First action is a shot by Marshall which goes well wide of Ikeme's goal - 4 mins in and not much happened so far

2.5 minutes been played and there's nothing happening because these two dopes have been talking about all the medication that one of them has.
Long distance shot going wide there from Marshall.

Hause with a nice sliding tackle but as he goes through, perfectly timed, the Blackburn player collapsed onto him and it looks like he's got a boot on the head.... Flat out but getting attention.

Hause down after making a good sliding challenge - no ones fault, just a coming together.

    Hopefully he is OK

Dicko receives the ball in the area - on to it quickly but Steele turns the shot around the post for a corner

Dicko legging it into their half, LaParra has it Edwards running in too with Iorfa lending support but Dicko takes it a step too far and lashes it but it's deflected out for a corner.
Jacobs corner comes in but is headed out and Rhodes is blown up for hands ball.
Decent little attack got going there by Dicko...
KMac trying to keep this in and... its back to Ikeme.

Rhodes called offside after a flick on by Gestede from an Olsenn cross. Over the bar but wouldn't have counted anyway.

    A warning

Iorfa is known as 'Spider' apparently....
Henry has that attack but his cross is fielded by Marshall.
Blackburn break but Rhodes lashes the end product from Olsson, smacked over the bar, but....
it seems the flag's gone up?
    Offside? Foul?

    Wolves clear.
