Shiiiiit - no. That is very sad.
There are only two man-made objects that can be seen from space.

Former All Black Jonah Lomu has died at the age of 40. He had been suffering with a kidney condition. Terribly sad news.

Very sad indeed - a special player.

The sight of him running over (& I do mean over rather than round) Mike Catt to score in the World Cup will not be forgotten

Peter Dimmock dies aged 94 - many of the younger participants on here won't know who he is, but a pioneer of televised sports in the UK

First presenter of Grandstand & SPOTY among other things.

it is not that I have no past. rather, it continually fragments on the terrible and vivid ephemera of now.

Seems there's a few on here who enjoyed Scott Weiland's music, so I thought you'd enjoy this article

Today's footballers have a lot to thank Jimmy Hill for. He was one of the pioneers behind the abolition of the minimum wage. Not to mention he advocated all seater stadiums and three points for a win long before they were implicated.

    R.I.P. Jimmy Hill.

+1. Was never his biggest fan but believe he always had the best interests of 'the game' at heart.

Was it not a maximum wage?

Yes correct - think it was set at 20 per week at that time

Just had a short piece on the BBC news about him. Amazing just how many modern day mainstays he pioneered.
