    P. S. For anyone that likes Carice Van Houten, she is very good in the Paul Verhoeven film Black Book (Zvartboek) alongside Sebastian Koch. Set in WW2. She gets them out plenty in that too!

Contender for the best episode yet IMO. So much happened. I'd been wondering how they were going to tie it all off with only 2 seasons after this but if it's going to continue at this pace there'll be nobody left soon!

Watching the Ep.3 preview there's a HUGE scene coming up which could confirm a fan theory from the books that's only 6 years younger than I am.

    Brilliant episode.

You can't beat a bit of Hodor (whatchu talkin' bout Willis?), some head squishing, dragons, betrayal with daggers, baby dog food, and a bit of re-animation to round it off.

The only thing it was missing from being a GoT all-rounder was some nobbing.

Surprised no-one has posted about this week's episode.

Firstly, now they seem to have been freed of the restraints of the books (obviously they were changing a few things here and there before this season) I really think the episodes are paced much better. Yet another strong episode.

    I'll spoiler the details:

I had almost forgotten about Rickon and Osha - and poor Shaggydog! I liked this plot twist, though god knows what Ramsay will end up doing to them. I reckon it'll be the final spark that sees Jon return to the Watch and march on Winterfell.

I was pleased to see that little shit Olly hang - deserved it, the whiney arse head that he is. Or was.

Favourite scene has to be the one with Tyrion trying to talk to Missandei and Grey Worm I've got to go to my nephew's first holy communion in a few weeks (my brother's in-laws are staunch Catholics) so that'll be like me trying to start a conversation during the 'party' afterwards.

Yep - I thought the fight with Ser Arthur Dayne was great. Like Darth Maul in Westeros.

ToJ scene was awesome. Young Bean was perfect and Dayne lived up to the hype. I can't wait to see Ned/Lyanna next week.

Yeah - using Bran is a pretty cool way to get all these flashback scenes. I really want them to show a flashback to King Aerys. Maybe Rickard and Brandon Stark's death scene?

They actually filmed that scene for the pilot but cut it. It's still on youtube somewhere, they do a really good job of it too.

Every episode of this season has been. The pacing has improved massively.

It was decent. Another "everybody bows down in awe of Dany" scene though. Yeah we get it. Just move her on quickly please. She's never going to get to Westeros at this rate if we only have this season and next season before it all ends.

Oh and I predict the Bitty Army will come to the rescue at some point in the Bolton vs Snow & Co battle if they're as down on numbers as they say.
